Built in 1906, this historic bed and breakfast is located in the West End of Vancouver, just 1 km from downtown. The individually decorated rooms of the West End Guest House range from antique to contemporary furnishings. All contain a flat-screen TV and free WiFi. Guests of West End can relax next to the fireplace in the parlour, on the verandah or in the private garden. The history of the west coast is shown in photos throughout the house. A full breakfast is served in the dining room each morning and is based on a changing menu. Free snacks and drinks are always available. The Vancouver Art Gallery is 3 minutes from the Guest House at West End. Edgewater Casino is less than 6 km away.

Very enjoyable stay with the highlight of the fantastic breakfast!

The hotel is at an amazing location close to downtown Vancouver. Walking distance to Stanley park. The whole house is very clean and well maintained with beautiful decos. The staff are very friendly and helpful! The highlight of the stay is the fresh house-made three-course breakfast every morning - so tasty!

A haven for the weary traveller

Warm and hospitable. Kathy was charming and very helpful. My bedroom was clean and well appointed and comfortable. It felt much like a home from home. The breakfast concoction by Barbara was a work of art but I would have preferred a simple English breakfast

Historic house in a beautiful spot in the west end. No better Airbnb in the city considering the value for what is offer

Walkable to English Bay, Stanley Park, Robson St and aqua bus to Granville Island
Excellent staff
Check in was a breeze, lovely attendant available to answer questions

a delightful stay

The building is so charming and is decorated tastefully. Loved the dinning room that we had breakfast. Breakfast was served beautifully and food was absolutely delightful and delicious. It is in heart of Vancouver and everything is in walking distance.

Welcoming and Comfortable

Spent two nights at the West End Guest House. What a nice alternative to staying in a hotel. Everything was just perfect. The room was SPOTLESS. The breakfast was insanely delicious. I was quite pleased with how quiet the rooms were. There were many others staying as well but you would never know it. We were able to walk to Stanley Park and all over the area to find unique lunch and dinner options. We like to explore new places as locals might so we dove right in and took public transportation from the airport. The TransLink website was simple to use.
Hope to visit Vancouver again…I know where I’ll be staying.
