Comfy cozy

Great spot we stayed in the country suite and I was worried about the chlorine in the area sleeping. But they had an air ionizer there which made a huge difference ! Great thinking would highly recommend.
Very spacious and welcoming. I would also recommend the Port Pub and bistro which is 6 minutes away !

Country Suite

We stayed in the Country Suite and are return guests. Some improvements have been made to the suite each stay. While the room does have a bit of a rustic feel, everything was clean and met our expectations. We did miss the welcome drink of cider and the breakfast (we stayed in February and they no longer have breakfast year round). We look forward to staying again!

Wouldn’t stay again.

We were excited to stay at the Gingerbread Inn after reading the reviews and looking at photos, however were quite disappointed by the experience. We stayed in the Carriage House, and the directions were very specific on parking in the assigned spot. Unfortunately, our spot was used to dump snow, so the passenger was left getting into the snow bank to try and leave space for the other vehicle.
The outside was not maintained. The path leading up to the room was not cleared more than 5 inches, making it hard to navigate with a suitcase. The interior of the room was also disappointing, the furniture was incredibly damaged, and did not reflect the “romantic” getaway we expected. Additionally, the kitchen and bathroom were dirty, with residue on the countertops.
The TV was nice, and the water was hot. However that was really the only really redeeming qualities of the stay. I wouldn’t recommend the Inn if you’re looking for a nice experience. However if you’re just looking for somewhere to sleep, it’s probably fine.

Love the Gingerbread House Inn! Just avoid Sunrise Suite

Starting off by saying we LOVE the gingerbread house inn! We stayed there many times years ago when my husband I first started dating. I remember being so upset when they sold a few years ago, wondering what would happen. We recently stayed for an evening this weekend in the Sunrise Suite. It was cozy, the jacuzzi was wonderful and deep, took awhile to figure out how to turn the jets off...but we managed, however it was snowing outside and the garage door (the suite is above the garage) opened at minimum 10 times which was very annoying and unnecessary as the last time it opened and closed was 10:00PM. Worst part was it then started opening and closing again at 7:00AM.. We were away from our kids and would have loved to sleep in.. that did not happen, so if you're looking for a quiet room, do not book this suite.. bed was ok, pillows weren't as comfortable as would have liked. The heat was great and cozy and the coffee was delicious, just super disappointed in the consistent use of the garage door when the side man door could have been utilized..

Gingerbread House Inn

Our room was equipped with everything we needed. Walking distance to Farmer's market and restaurants. Comfy beds with a clean bathroom. Well informed as to how to access and enter our room. We are hoping to return again soon. Thanks for making our stay easy and pleasant.
