Excellent cost/benefit

Hotel very well located, in the center of the walled city, close to bars, restaurants and tourist attractions, allows you to do everything on foot. Spacious, comfortable rooms. Good service. Excellent cost/benefit. The shower water could be warmer. The night has a little noise due to the traffic on the street.

I arrived late, my room was dirty, only bed was done. No towels, no toiletries, ac remote not working.
There was no staff to help me on those issues, just the reception girl, and only handed me ONE towel.
I was so tired to go and find another hotel at that time.
And next day I had to go ask again at 4pm to get my room cleaned and toiletries as it was the same state.

Horrible horrible horrible— do not stay here!!!

Horrible horrible horrible!!!! This place is basically a brothel!!! It looks fine during the day but at night there are pr0stitut3s lined up and down the streets!!! The other 2 guests on our floor brought in pr0stitut3 after pr0stitut3 throughout the entire night!!! The walls are paper thin so we could hear absolutely everythinggg!!!!! Conversations about payment, screaming, yelling, crying, furniture falling!!! This place is not a normal or decent hotel!! The guests were consuming dr**s, the smoke and stench of w**d filled our room!!! When my dad went downstairs to complain, the guy at reception was selling condoms (and who knows what else) to the guests and pr0stitut3s!!! The next morning we checked out and asked for our money back at least for the 2nd night that we were absolutely not going to stay!! The girl at reception said sorry no refunds!!! We asked to speak to the manager, she said sorry he’s not here and I can’t reach him. We had to get the police involved and they agreed we should get our money back!! Unless you’re in Cartagena for dr**s and pr0stitu3s, do not stay here!!!

Dirty, outdated and noisy

Outdated and broken furniture, partially functioning a/c, threadbare towels, no toiletries and wordt of all stained bedlinen. First room they put me in was basically a cupboard with NO WINDOWS. (Apparently most of the rooms are windowless). Got a change of room with a window but the communal area was right outside (who thought of this stupid idea?) resulting in unacceptable noise levels from a group of non-white American guests late in to the night. When I told the Americans that it was 1am and I was trying to sleep I received a torrent of homophobic, anti British and racial (anti-white, yes it's racism) abuse. Complained to the receptionist about the other guests but she was very unhelpfull and basically ignored me. Moving to another hotel and chalking this up to experience.

I arrived at the property to check in and was told there were no rooms available even though I had a reservation. Not sure if that was the hotels fault or expedias
