Additionally, the location is close to the bus station, but that also made it very noisy. It was hard to sleep at night due to the constant noise.
Overall, the stay was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend this hostel.

I love colors and I love mosaics, and this place is all about colors and mosaics. Full of beautiful and artsy designs, it really has a lot of character. It has a small internal courtyard and a large, very pretty kitchen for everybody to use. Even the air condition machine at the entrance is painted with different colors as to continue the design on that wall.
Our orange bedroom upstairs was small but pretty, orange is my favorite color, so it was nice to be in a bright and colorful room.
Like I said, I really liked the place itself and the environment. I chatted with some guests and the staff. On the way out, when I was at the door, I even remember telling them that I would write an excellent review about this place.
Then, 3 days later, my horrific nightmare began. My neck felt very itchy and then, hours later, my arms and legs were extremely itchy too. It was a deep, relentless itch every second of the day and nothing could ease it. I had wheals in all of these areas. It was atrocious. I ended up in the emergency room and even there the doctors who examined me continued to tell me that my body was "devastated" by an "attack" of bed bugs. They prescribed me cortisone, antihistamine and a stomach protector to take for many days.
Doctors also told me that bed bugs can take up to a week to show up on your body and many times you don't feel it when they bite you because they inject some sort of anesthetic (and I did further research which confirmed this)
When I got home from the hospital I looked at the City-in reviews and immediately found many more reviews from other guests complaining about bed bugs, reviews before and after our stay, there were also reviews from years before !
I was so angry, they knew they had a bed bug problem yet they let people sleep in these rooms. Even though it had been almost a week since we left, I called them, I knew they would remember me from the conversations we had and because I had a crutch.
I told the girl what happened to me and what I was going through because of the bed bugs they have in their hotel, she first tried to deny that they had that problem, so I told her to look at the reviews before and after our stay and people complained. I wanted our money back. She actually gave me another number to call after 4pm. I called that number several times and called the hotel back, but immediately after the 1st ring the line became busy or if they answered as soon as they recognized me they hung up.
Also, they disabled the feature to write a review from the site where I booked it, that's why I'm writing here.
I am more than extremely disappointed, I had a horrible and painful experience. I gave them many compliments, but when I called them after what happened to me, I did not receive any refund, I did not even receive an apology for a problem that they know they have had for a long time, which shows that the well-being of the guests who pay to stay there is certainly not something they care about.
