Best Ryokan we found in Japan our entire trip, also saw guest checking in past 6pm like indicated on hotels.com so good to know for future. Highly recommended this place from well travelled couple.

The stay was fine, check-in was not smooth and the reception staff was not very helpful. You can’t drive to the entrance of the hotel, it’s quite a long walk from the parking with heavy luggages. I would not recommend this hotel to any senior traveler or people with disability.

Great value experience! Neat Japanese style room with clean mattress quilt pillow etc in the cupboard. If you like to soak in hot springs, it is very worthwhile to try private hot springs for cheap money. The unique decoration is the same as the Japanese-style hot spring pools in many film and television works. If you come on weekdays, you will have the opportunity to reserve the venue in the public pool later. The breakfast the next morning surprised me. The whole set in the picture belongs to one person. The miso soup is stewed in the pot. In addition to the side dishes, there is also a grilled fish blessing bag, which is full of ritual. When you leave the store, you can also ask the hotel to call a taxi and send it to the cable car station to take the cable car to see Mount Fuji.
