Excellent choice for a visit to Barcelona
Just finished a wonderful 4 night stay at the Gran Hotel Havana, from check-in to check-out the stay was ideal for a 1st time visit to Barcelona. Our room (225) was well equiped, clean and with an extremely comfy bed, which was a welcome sanctory after a long say of exploring all that the city has to offer, albeit with a disappointing view from the window. But its central location made exploring the city so easy and ensured we made the very most of our stay. The only disappointment was the dispite the weather being sunny and warm throughtout our stay the roof top terrace bar remained closed for the duration, resulting a trip of 7 floors in a lift down to the reception bar (in swimming pool attire) to get a drink!!!!!!

Not the best experience but great staff and good
The staff are lovely and professional the hotel was very austere inside and the first room looked out onto a blank wall. We were moved as the AC wasn’t working and we then had s view of the Main Street.
Food very good and good choice at breakfast. Great location. Bed and pillows excellent.
Unfortunately the pool area had some refurbishing going on so builders painting, sanding, radios on and the photographers setting up right next to us with no warning or consideration that we were on holiday. Very intrusive.

Fantastic Stay
Just arrived home after a 4 night stay at this hotel…and it was simply amazing. The staff were so helpful and smiley, they are just wonderful and nothing is too much to ask. The room we had was lovely and clean, the bed was comfy too. The sheets were changed halfway through our stay, and we were given clean towels. The breakfast buffet was amazing with a real variety of different options, the staff are very hardworking and top each section up as and when necessary. The hotel is in perfect location, in the middle of it all and we walked to most of the sights we wanted to visit. Right outside the door there is a taxi rank too, so we found this so useful. The rooftop bar was lovely, but unfortunately it wasn’t open just yet, so we had to get drinks from the ground floor and take them up with us, but understandable at this time of year.
Can’t recommend his hotel enough, and will definitely be staying again in the future.

Decent Hotel in a Perfect Location
Great location. We booked a terrace room which was lovely and one we enjoyed immensely. One negative is that bathroom windows were inoperable so we weren’t able to get fresh air at night. Sink type also made it difficult to properly wash one’s face. Hotel was decently priced for what we were seeking (our first choice was the Cotton House but very limited for 2-bedded rooms with a terrace). Breakfast buffet was okay (hard working staff) but same things every day. The room was also crowded and somewhat claustrophobic—it would have been lovely to have breakfast offered on the rooftop terrace (as we recently had with hotels in Chile and Athens).

Birthday Stay
On arrival the receptionist was very welcoming.
As we arrived early we were able to leave our luggage securly whilst we went for a walk to see our surrounding.
On returning given keys and details of room location.
Very clean rooms and bath room with coffee making facilities.
Took walk to roof area that had a pool and bar and seating area. Lovely views.
Great breakfast lots to choose from.
Coffee machine in room was not working informed reception and with in five minutes maintanence cam and replaced great service.
Highly rexommned staying here as within easy walking distance to many sight seeing areas. Only a 10-15 minute walk to marina area.
