More ‘Basic’ than ‘Boutique’

A 3 night stay at Helvetia. Well situated and 10 mins walk from the main station. We paid for a large room. It is very basic. Functional and a sound 3.5/5 but nothing special. Definitely not the queen size bed we paid for (standard double at best), limited clothes space, no tea/coffee or safe, and small screen tv. We found that UK electricity adapters would only fit in 1 of the 5 sockets in the room. Good bathroom and the shower is well sized (warm water with good pressure). The hotel acted as a good base to explore Zurich. We enjoyed lunch in the adjoining restaurant. Breakfast was overpriced (plenty of local cafes). Would look at alternative hotels.

Great stay at the Helvetia

Great welcome by friendly reception staff and a tour of the hotel, nice room which was comfortable clean and functional and a great breakfast. Lovely Zurich hotel in a great location perfect for catching the train and walking into the city centre.

Perfect hotel/restaurant/bar in Zurich!

Our family of four was delighted to find the Hotel Helvetia- it was a nice walking distance from Old Town Zurich and shopping, the attic suite was spacious and the restaurant/bar with a lovely outdoor space was amazing. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We will absolutely stay here whenever we’re in Zurich!

Top hotel,top letto , top posizionamento very clean , restaurant and bar , top . Room are simple but nice reception is very nice and the girl there very kindly ,hotel seem to stay at home , i will come back for sure . Price at the market price , i will racccomande this hotel
