Staff at the counter is very friendly and helpful, recommended nice eateries. Room is clean and spacious and bed is comfortable. The hotspring bathtub is big enough for 2 people and water is very hot, we had a great time.

Hatsujokei Onsen But it doesn't really feel like a spa hotel.

It is a small inn in the Shangxi Hot Spring.
I went to the annex because there seems to be a main building and an annex. From the office we checked in, across the main street, was a small auto-lock building.
The room was like a business hotel, but the room bath was hot spring.
The quality of the springs was good, but the amount of water coming out of the currants was not large, so it took a long time to store them, so I even went shopping. Also, there is no shower curtain and if you are not careful, you will be flooded including the toilet. The tub was so deep that I washed myself in it lol.
There were quite a few small night markets and souvenir shops, but not many restaurants, so I walked around the area. The hotel website said it was going to be a bit more like a hot spring hotel, so I think there are different tastes.

Spent time at this hotel during typhoon. Great cable movie and sports selection. Personal hot tub in room. 7-eleven, Mos burger and KFC all close by were open during typhoon. Couldn’t have asked for more.
