Wonderful venue, location and staff. Exceptional.
Our dealings with the hotel were seamless from the start. The customer service was excellent. The person that phoned my sister to confirm the booking was extremely friendly and helpful. I had to go back at a later point to ask a question and again the lady was so helpful and kind. We were advised that we could park at the hotel when we arrived even though it was before our check-in and also could leave our car at the hotel the following day once we had checked out. We were also given the option to change our room to twin beds instead of a double. The walk into bath is 10/15 minutes.
On arrival , the customer service was exceptional. We were offered water and told that we would receive a snack/treat on our departure. When we checked in, we were given a map and our spa vouchers. It was explained to us about the fresh milk in the fridge downstairs for tea and coffee and also a fridge in the hallway that we could help ourselves too with complimentary drinks and treats.
Our room was beautiful and had a lovely view. There was a good tea tray with lovely biscuits. Good supplies in the bathroom for washing and a Dyson hairdryer.
We had a drink outside from the bar and enjoyed the sunshine. We had a Sunday roast and it was absolutely delicious. The breakfast the following morning did not disappoint either. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and we will definitely be back again. Thank you to the team at the Bird for making our stay so wonderful.
