Dated, dirty, disgusting- Avoid at all costs

Never before have I had the misfortune to stay in such a vile room. The place needs to be fumigated to say the least and I guess the mouse and rat glue box outside my bedroom door was a clue of things to come. I paid £85 for the night. It wasn’t worth £20 and is basically like a doss house, with a stinky, dirty room, with no pillow or mattress protectors, an old and dirty stained duvet and a mattress that was equally dirty and stained. A tea tray that had basically been used as an ashtray and left dirty, a filthy bathroom unit, dirty soap dish, dirty stained sink and toilet and when I found the loo roll it had blood stains over the edge of the roll. It was without doubt, the wurst place I’ve ever had the misfortune to stay at. Dirty carpet and no headboard on the bed, just up against a dust covered wall that needed a serious lick of paint after a deep clean. Never before have I slept on top of a bed fully clothed with a coat over me, as I didn’t want to risk getting into the bed itself. Old and really dated room furniture. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy and to call itself a hotel/guesthouse is seriously wrong, as it’s basically a doss house that smells throughout the whole building. I tried to book another place to stay, but I couldn’t get any wifi signal and so I really did have to slum it. £85 was way over top and the owner and so called housekeeping staff should hang their heads in shame. Please read all the other reviews for this place and it’s sister hotel next door. Again, avoid at all costs. Dirty, dated and disgusting beyond belief. 100% rank

Convenient but very noisy, dusty and not very comfortable. If price is low worth it but best in mind very dusty noisy and food for breakfast very minimal

I didn't like it but I only stayed one night

Good side the staff were friendly bad side room and small and tight bathroom hardly had room to move around and the hallways fediam to cigarettes besides the carpet have yellow spots plus the location was good I stay near Mc Donalds

Very dirty Hotel. Stale water in the kettle. Drawers and tops of wardrobe covered in dust. Light fitting was thick with years of dust. All dado rails had thick dust on them. The shower soap dish was filthy. Didn’t bother staying for the breakfast. Very disappointed.

Stale smell throughout the building didn't even want to have breakfast as so dirty.
