Amazing Accomodation

Helen was an amazing host. The beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. We will be returning again. Could not recommend it highly enough. It was good value for money. The location to the Mourne mountains and Newcastle was great.

Amazing place with an exceptional accessible room

What an amazing place! Helen was so welcoming to us.
Our accessible room was EXCEPTIONAL! The size of the room gave more than enough space to move around, the bathroom was huge and with everything that was needed from grab rails, easily accessible shower, shower stool and again space to move around easily. Obviously a lot of planning had gone into the process - and it looked (and was!) modern and bright.
The lift to get down to breakfast was easy to use. We were able to park by the room with a ramp leading in. If you need an accessible room in Ireland you MUST stay here!!
What a find! Such a shame that we couldn't stay longer and live so far away, but we will definitely recommend it to others!

Tollymore…and more

In the heart of Tollymore Forest, we find this welcoming B&B. The rooms are spacious, with everything you need (even small snacks). It is rare to find places so well maintained and everything is impeccably taken care of down to the smallest detail.
The breakfast is more than complete, very well cooked and Helen is a particularly pleasant and helpful hostess. She gave us a lot of visiting advice, took care of reserving a restaurant for us...Always very attentive.
An excellent address to recommend without reservation.

Excellent B&B, Would Highly Recommend

Excellent B&B. En-suite bedroom was tastefully decorated and meticulously clean. Breakfast was freshly cooked. Hostess was friendly and welcoming. Location convenient for Tollymore Park and Newcastle.

Relaxing B&B in the idyllic Mournes

The Tollyrose is a superb B&B. It is only about 4 miles from the centre of Newcastle, about half a mile from Tollymore Forest Park and a few miles away from the Mourne Mountains. The hosts are terrific-Eammon & Helen are very welcoming and nothing is too much bother for them. It is spotlessly clean, warm and very relaxing. The breakfast was excellent - fruit, cereal, toast and of course the best fry!!
We highly recommend staying here and definitely will be back again soon!!
