Perfect guessed house with perfect hoist

We were greeted by a lovely young guy called Chris he couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly he was there for your every need, he went above and beyond our expectations! The guessed house was clean and tidy cosy bed and lovely hot shower. Perfect place for our 3 night stay. I’d highly recommend this place for your stay in Oban with a 5 minute walk your in town, perfect!

The worst room ever

We booked this guest house luckily only for one night! Unfortunately the room we were given was indecent. Dirty carpet, smelly room with furnishings with a layer of dust, kettle and dirty and used cups, dirty bathroom with toilet not even disinfected. On our trips we have stayed in hostels with shared bathrooms cleaner than this. We pointed out the lack of hygiene (also because we paid for the room and even a lot) they thought of giving us breakfast (which we had already included)

one night, but a great stopover

brilliant one night stay. a lovely welcome, superb local information given about where to eat and drink. we took the advice and had a great night out in town. A great night sleep in a compact, cosy and warm room, we needed for nothing, check out was also a delight, thank you we will be back

Two night stay

Very easy check in with a lovely host Room 2 at the front of the building not huge but had everything you needed hairdryer toiletries and excellent tea tray with goodies It was warm during our stay so we had the windows open and the traffic noise from the road outside is fairly non stop so bear that in mind if you're a light sleeper

The location is the only good thing

This guest house is not 3 star in fact barely 1 star. The room was very small with nowhere to put a suitcse so you had to climb over it. The bottom sheet and pillows were clean but not sure about the duvet cover. The duvet was very very old and about 2 cms thick but there were 4 old matress toppers on the bed to try and make the old matress comfy ! The shower was tiny an didn't work very well. The shower room smelt of disinfectant. No residents lounge, no breakfast infact nothing i could recommend about this place apart from a good location.
