Great Valentine's day weekend at Lake Lawn Resort!

We had a great time at Lake Lawn Resort over Valentine’s day weekend! It had been over 10 years since we were last there. The resort has undergone a total renovation since then, and it really looks great! The rooms are very comfortable and brightly decorated. The entire property has a very inviting feel about it. We enjoyed exploring the lodge and relaxing by the fireplaces. There are 3 restaurants on the property, and all the meals we had were very good. All the service we received from the staff was top-notch!
We arrived on Friday (Valentine’s day), and the resort had a reception in the afternoon that included free wine and hors d’oeuvres. One of the hosts (the gentleman with the festive Valentine's Day suit) was absolutely awesome! We didn't get his name, but he agreed to take a selfie with us at the Friday reception. He chatted with us that afternoon, and it was nice talking with him. We were pleased to see him again the following evening when we chatted with him some more while checking in for the Joe Diamond dinner show (which was AMAZING by the way). Many kudos to the dinner service staff that evening as well - they did a terrific job!!!
Lake Lawn Resort has many different events going on all the time, and often has live entertainment. Karaoke at the Lookout Bar & Eatery was a lot of fun, too!
The only negative thing we have to say about our stay is that the guest room walls and ceiling seem to be a bit thin. We heard a lot of noise from our neighbors next to us and above us.
Otherwise, it was a great experience overall! We were there to celebrate Valentine's Day and a birthday, and we had a great time! We will definitely be back!

It was fine. We had some issues and were offered an upgrade, but we became quite busy and were unable to get back to switch. We recommend bringing a small cool mist humidifier, the room was very dry. Water pressure could be better and toilet sounded like a plane taking off when flushed. Positives, Z is a wonderful bartender. We enjoyed the pork belly lollipops and the atmosphere. We were able to make good use of the pool and hot tub. Both are quite large. Most of the days we were out much of the time. We do prefer to dine where the locals do, so we only ate there once.

Spa day was great!

I had a wonderful message at the Calladora Spa! Carmen was great! The spa is calming and clean and beautifully appointed. All the staff is friendly and professional. I have stayed at the resort before and it is a cozy spot for sure. I give it a 10!

A family tradition for over 20 years..we were 20+ strong!

Only complaint I have is our room was not ready when we tried to check in & we were told we would be called when it was. Never received a call so went back several hours later & told our room was ready. The room was in the section that was not connected to the hotel, which we never asked for. Did end up putting us in the main hotel near party we were there with. Everything else was great.
