Fun new years
It was nice however to sit on the rooftops and drink after we went and bought more ice and sparkling wine to finish the Aperol.

Unbelievable.
We were on time for our 6:45p reservation, and there were delays on every course - appetizers, pasta, and dessert. We waited 30 minutes for our appetizer, and our server came to apologize and let us know there was a problem with the pizza dough and it was being remade - but there was never any offer to comp any element of the meal.
Then, at 1 AM, we heard a barrage (approximately 14) of gunshots outside our room. It was loud, and scary enough for us to immediately pack our bags and leave the hotel at approximately 1:15 AM. There is no member of the Hotel Otto staff on premises after the restaurant closes so there was no one for us to speak with about this issue that evening. We called the hotel the next morning, and were told that a manager needed to call us back the next day. There was no attempt to contact us for almost 5 days - after which I called and finally spoke with someone. The manager attempted to downplay our fears, and chalk the noise up to fireworks.
After a back and forth about the disappointing experience at the restaurant and the distressing evening at the hotel, the Hotel Otto staff is refusing a refund (claiming their contracted agreements prohibits reimbursements) and has offered a 50% discount to return to the hotel for a re-do. Suffice to say we will not be spending any more money for them to attempt to make this right with us.
