Beautiful hotel
My boyfriend and I stayed here in April for a romantic trip. Since we got there everyone was very nice to us. The valet staff was great taking care of our car and bringing it to us. They all would open doors for all and wish us to have a good day. They ALL excelled at their job. Check in was smooth and the front desk staff was very friendly.
We previously asked for a room in a high floor with a view so we could enjoy the city and they gave us room 1414 which did not disappoint. Top floor with beautiful views and a lot of privacy as well. The room was clean and spacious and the bathroom was very nice as well. I appreciated the shower heads.
Other than this, I cant say much cause we were at the hotel very little because we went to explore the city but I can say we are definitely coming back and staying here. So worth it.

AC Hotel Downtown Fail!!
Do not valet park your car here! I was there last weekend and my sunroof was knocked out with a cement brick. The valet drivers are very sketchy. Untrustworthy at best. The hotel comped my room but I still had to drive back to Wichita without a roof on my car. Pay extra and stay somewhere else! Avoid this one!

Great Week, Great Hospitality at AC Hotel Downtown KC
Greetings, my wife and I spent seven (7) nights at the AC Hotel downtown Kansas City in March 2025. We were "blown away" with the hospitality that the AC team showed from the moment of our arrival to our departure. The Valet team couldn't have been more polite, timely and helpful. The $38/night was a fair price to take care of our car.
The front desk team was unbelievable - Lady "T" (glasses) helped us throughout our visit. When we needed some room attention, she delivered some fresh towels and sundries. Samuel and Estaban were also helpful in handling issues. For example, the AC lost internet connection on Wednesday, but the technicians took care of the problem.
The location was excellent for walking to restaurants - HomeSteader, American Reserve, Bristol and Savoy. Daily we walked to Church at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and NAIA basketball at the Municipal Auditorium. Easy walks! (But windy)
Our room on the 14th floor was super! The layout was unorthodox but we quickly adapted to this excellent room. The workout room was clean, neat and easy to access and use,
Congratulations to Marriott for their professional renovation of a historic downtown Kansas City restaurant. The five (5) elevators were always available. Last, the stairs were very well lighted and safe. I walked the 14 floors a couple of times for a work out.
Looking forward to another visit in 2026!

Beautiful new hotel with well appointed rooms. Nice modern bathroom with upgraded showers. Comfy beds. Netflix available on TV. We loved the hydration stations on each floor that provided crushed ice and filtered water! Custom order coffee bar in the lobby was a nice touch! Walking distance to everything in downtown and the Power and Light District. Would highly recommend.
