The beds are hard the heat was not working it was cold outside the receptionist was rude and obnoxious and tried to put us on the do not rent list because my wife did her daughter's hair and she didn't like it nothing dealing with the hotels policies those was her own issues that she had and used her ability to put us on a do not rent list because of personal habits keep in mind when you're going to do not rent list that means something was wrong with your room or something with wrong in the building everything was exceptionally great the room was still intact the walls are still intact the TV was still intact nothing was removed out of the room that was in the room when we rented the room there was nothing wrong with the room there was nothing wrong with the parking lot the lobby coffee was not out at the time it was supposed to be out that was another thing that we did not like but we stayed at the one in Glendale and it's amazing everything the service everything is there right on point the one in oak Creek I would never in life stay there ever again I thought I was getting away from Milwaukee for a while by going to oak Creek with my wife to have us a very special night and it was terrible.

Felt Unsafe in this Establishment

I had a fight with my husband and leave home and stay here for a night. It was a horrible I had to wait for a receptionist about 15 mins.because when I came they just switching shifts.
Also the room where they put me is so freaking cold and dog also barking at 1 am in the morning across from my room.
I felt unsafe this area, the hallways is also dirty lots of food wrappers and it's also noisy couldn't sleep feels like lots of foot step walking back an fort even at 1 am so I had to check out a 2 am. The girl in the counter is friendly though.

Unfortunate

Came here with 2 friends for a concert. It immediately reeked of weed and wet dog, and the entire place was so dirty. Wrappers and dirt covered the entire floor throughout the stairs & hallways. Walking down the hallway you could hear people screaming & dogs barking. When we were trying to get into our room (it took 6 keys and we still didn’t make it inside) There was two children yelling and cussing at each other while being pulled by a pit bull in our direction. One was trying to let it off leash and they made it within a few inches of my leg before we decided to leave as we felt unsafe. Not allowed a refund after days of calling trying to get ahold of the manager and a downed system because it was not life threatening. I was kind and thankful the entire time and he still just said have a nice day and hung up the phone.

The worst I have seen

Usually I wait until the trip is over. Things can get better or worse. I have been in my room a few hours. This stay has been one of the worst I have had at Motel 6. It wasn't entirely their fault. My bank canceling my debit card due to a fraudulent charge the day before the trip didn't help. I raged at both AARP Expedia and Motel 6 over the phone about a reservation already made and paid for. But Motel 6 insisted that if I couldn't show the original card, the reservation would be canceled. I was welcome to make a new reservation- at twice the price. I told them it would be my last stay at a Motel 6. Fortunately, when I arrived at the Motel 6, the local manager had taken care of the problem and deserves kudos. Now for the room itself. I had no television as they had trouble with DirectTV. The bed was rock hard. Someone had set the air conditioner at 60 degrees and my room was freezing. I had trouble adjusting the temperature. The room looked cheap. The dresser had no drawers. The DirectTV box was hanging from the screen and television holder by wires. The desk lamp was broken and hanging down and almost useless for room lighting. The room had a hard desk chair to sit on. The bathtub was stained. The toilet turnoff valve leaked on the floor. I have stayed in updated Motel 6s with fridges and microwaves. This was not one of them. Look, at the price they charge, I am not expecting the Ritz. But with the possible exception of one I stayed at in Michigan a few years ago, this might be the very worst Motel 6 I have stayed at.

The staff is good. Helpful even. Had issues with the a/c in our first room, we were able to switch rooms, which was good. There were some smells that were not pleasant in the hallways the first night -- cleaned up by day 2.
