The room looked very neat and clean. But there was a very strong smell of bleach when entering the room, which was unpleasant. There were plenty of bath towels and hand towels, but no washcloths.

Reviews all said wonderful but was totally disappointed! Bugs in the bathroom, no door on the closet, had to call for fresh towels even though it said to leave dirty ones on the floor to be replaced, and bed was never made.
It was a no frills place without a no frills price

Great little spot just 2 blocks off Atlantic Ave. Rooms were clean, outdoor space was clear, and the off street self parking is excellent for those of us who like the car handy and/or get tired of needing valets other places!! Great price for location, will return.

Not so great experience.

The location is very convenient but the room was infested with roaches and maybe other bugs we couldn't identify. The room lacks a suitcase chair so you have to leave your luggage on the floor. The TV does not have cable and the AC, if turned off and on, expels soot. This place needs maintenance urgently.

I give it 2 stars primarily because of the location. It s about half a mile from the main streets and 1 mile from the beach. The "hotel" sits right on a fairly busy street. The hotel itself has not been remodeled probably since the '70s. Many layers of paint, front door which barely closes. Single pane windows which let through all the noise from the street and nearby rooms. Rooms are clean but it seems they use only detergent to clean the floors, without rinsing them after washing them. The result is very slippery floors. Water pressure in the bathroom is superlow. They also charge $15/day for parking. I cannot recommend this place
