Extremely clean rooms!
We went through a door and up the stairs to our room and when we opened the door we were so pleasantly surprised! An EXTREMELY clean room awaited us. I honestly dont know if I have ever been in a hotel/motel that has been so clean. The carpets are "dated" if you look at the kind of thing, but CLEAN, the bathroom tiles are "dated" but VERY clean! I dont care about any of that kind of stuff personally, but for those that do and want to know what to expect. There were even plenty of soaps and shampoos for each of us in the bathroom. The room was warm, and we didnt want to use the AC so we slept with the window open a bit. You could hear a little bit of the traffic from the road, but we were street facing and had that window been closed we wouldnt have heard anything. Someone mentioned hearing the trains. I heard them starting at about 6am, but again I feel this is only because we had the window open.
The beds are clean( we did have an issue with the comforter on my Daughters bed having a crusty food spill on it, but we just turned the comforter around and put that at the bottom so it wasnt right in her face). They are semi comfortable if I am being honest. They are springy and we felt like we were rolling to the middle of the bed. This wasnt a huge problem, but we could feel it. So sleep was average for any hotel room.
This was a very enjoyable stay! It was affordable, comfortable, VERY clean and we felt safe and very welcomed. We were in room 16.

(It's an older building, but the rooms are well taken care of and decorated nicely.)
I felt a little like I was transported back in time. :)
