Nice Budget Friendly Place for a Night or Two

It is so pleasing to see that your recent stay at our property was up to the mark. On behalf of our entire staff, thank you so much for your generous ratings. We are working relentlessly to overlook the aftermath of the COVID outbreak that has had put a halt to several of our hotel services. Awful Experience
The exterior of the hotel needs work. The inside of what I could see was dirty. Probably a good thing I did not stay. Ended up spending $100 more but stayed at a much better hotel.

I just tried to address the issue with the front desk guy while checking out. I tried to be civil, but he simply would not shut up. He constantly denied and argued with me, saying if it was so bad, why didn’t I get another room? Well, there were a few reasons for that. 1. It was pouring rain (electrical storm) and there was wicked lightning. 2. My elderly mother was too exhausted to move. 3. The majority of the reviews on here AND Trip Advisor said that ALL OF THE ROOMS, smoking or non smoking, reeked and were filthy. I did apologize for the state of the towels, but explained that I had to clean the room for my mom and daughter. I was doing him a courtesy and letting him know how awful the room was, but he just. couldn’t. shut. up. He said that since I didn’t ask for another room, it wasn’t his problem, but mine. I lost my cool and said no, it’s not and dropped an f-bomb saying it was his staff’s f***ing fault. Then he told me to get the f**k out, exact words. I didn’t even ask him for a refund or partial refund. What a jerk. Didn’t even pretend to care.
