Very nice hotel

The hotel staff is very polite and helpful. Rooms are big, clean and fully equiped. The breakfast is rich and varied. The hotel is in a very good position, close to the city center, the railway station. It can also be easily accessed with the car.

Best stay for our family

We had two nights with our family (2 kids) plus my parents (70+). No luxury but help with every need. Breakfast is outstanding. Staff is very friendly and met our sense of humour. Close to town center and 10 mins to walk from station. Will never take another hotel in Hof.

An accomodation

considering Hof and the level of prices around, it is an OK priced hotel. Room is clean and spacious although with dated interior and not so good furniture arrangement. The desk is such that there is little room to push back the chair although the room would be big enough to do otherwise. Shower is good for even the taller guests but the water in my case didn't reach hot - just a comfortable warm. Some power sockets were broken and poarking is on the streets around the hotel. WLAN is fast & free

Simple And clean

Hotel am Kuhbogen is located in the middle of the small town Hof. It is a simple hotel but the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The beds are not exactly the best ones but we slept fine. The highlight of the hotel is the breakfast buffet, you can find everything from fruits to eggs, sausages and different types of bread!

Good for short stay on the way to your final destination

This hotel is rather nice, clean and well located from highway. You will in easy way get there in few minutes (10 km) from highway. It is located almost in the heart of the beautiful town Hof. You should for sure go for a walk around the town allowing you to see its beauty.
We arrived around 19 and this is very nice from hotel that their reception is working 24/7 what is quite rare in Germans small towns.
For reasonable price (78euro) we got very cosy&clean room with good barhroom. Baby cot - free of charge and our cat could stay with us also for free as they accept pets. The next morning we had wanderful breakfast with really nice choice - also included in price.
Some cons that you need to be aware before booking:
- no A/C - this normally is not a problem in Germany but during our stay there was over 34 degrees. Night was a nightmare due to hottness.
- Windows if the rooms are on the street which is quite laudly even during night. Apparently there is a lot motorbikes and disco lovers. It was Friday night so noise was really too high despite we were at 2nd floor.
