Very helpful staff

I was driving from Scotland to Germany, and this hotel was on of the cheapest ones. Simple, but decent room, comfy bed and the staff, probably the owner was extremely helpful when I had an issue with my car on leaving. They even gave me a charger for my phone to be able to make xalls.

Solid place to stay

Nice rooms, nice hotel, nice atmosphere. Value/quality is excellent - including 5 euro's for the breakfast. From here you can go quite easy to the tourists spots of the region (vista points, parks, forests, zoo). The parking is free - not that many spots at the main building for all the rooms, but good enough. The street is the road used by most of the traffic including trucks. So it can be a bit loud. But with the windows closed you won't hear them. Even on the 2nd floor (were we stayed). The beds could use a new mattress (in our case). Lovely people. The 2nd building is 2 streets further, in the same block.

Good value for money

We stayed there for one night while attending a wedding near Saarbrücken. It has fully renovated rooms and it is perfect for the price they offer (modest but comfortable). The staff was also very polite.

Nice place!

Big, clean and confortable rooms, some of them are mini apartments,nice restaurant, friendly staff, calm area around the hotel! The next time i will be back in this area i will go back again to Dolfi hotel... Good for business and family ad well!! +++++++

We have just returned from a visit to Luxembourg, and on a short trip out to Sulzbach we stayed in this hotel. The area is very wooded, and the village gives a true feeling of German life. The family Hotel Dolfi is clean, friendly and very welcoming to none speaking German tourists. As a retired couple on a first visit we were made to feel very welcome and at ease in the hotel and bar. One of the lady owners helped us with the bar menu, and the food is fantastic. Breakfast is taken in the main hotel for 3 euros, a bargain. We wished we had more time to discover the area, and would urge Brits to visit as most guides give a wrong impression of it being an industrial area to be missed. The local area has shops, cycle routes and hiking to please any one who wishes to experience the genuine ambiance of German life.
