Great experience, friendly staff, and comfort

I stayed at this hotel and was extremely satisfied with everything. Before making my reservation, I read the reviews -- some people said the hotel was great, while others claimed the opposite. But I can confidently say that this is one of the best hotels in the Old City (Icherisheher).
Unlike many other places in the area, this hotel even has an elevator, which is a big plus. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — anything I asked for, they took care of it right away.
In terms of safety, the location is excellent. In fact, the whole city feels very safe. No matter what time of night it is, you'll always see people out and about. The locals are very warm and welcoming, which leaves you with genuinely positive emotions.

Good Hotel

I stayed at Atropat Hotel for 2 nights and it was very comfortable and quiet. The location is perfect — right in the Old City, close to everything. The room was clean and tidy. The staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and enough. Overall, I was very satisfied and would stay here again if I visit Baku.

The hotel meets the generally accepted criteria of "price-quality", the staff is diligent, friendly, breakfasts are very good for me. No longer about the hotel, but about its location! What is called the Old Town or Heart of Baku is an ancient fortress with cobblestones and a confusing maze of narrow streets with climbs and descents. If hotels are at the gates or exits of this fortress, nothing yet, but if hotels such as Atropat, it is not for age tourists! And you have to pay 2 manats to get a taxi to this Heart. They can't always let you in: there are embassies, government receptions and walking uphill in the heat of the maze...

Fals adbertising - bait and switch! There is NO FREE PARKING. Morower, there is NO PARKING at all. Stuff tells stories and lies. Room discusting. Smoke smell everywhere, even in the bed...

Old Hotel with 0 maintenance, had the room and it was nothing like description: 2 small single bads , water leaking from the selling in the bathroom! The bath was dirty and covered with moisture ! Went back to reception, they asked me to wait 3 hours for the manager to arrive at 11am ! Then changed my room to bigger but similar situation room ! Bad covered dirty. Room sirvice are there only if you go to reception and ask for it ... breakfast was really horrible : cold food ( eggs ....) so just to avoid . Such a pity that it have amazing location.
