Great country living

Such a beautiful area of Tasmania. We enjoyed our stay very much. So much to see within 30-45 mins of this. Nearby views of Mt Roland and the fields of green. The evening meals were excellent. Thanks Susie and Peter

Best hosts every,left feeling like we've met new friends

Absolutely loved our stay, couldn't fault the accommodation or the food. Made us an extra special meal at night as it was my birthday(extra cost but so worth it) and they even organized a night Wombat picnic at Cradle mountain for us all. (Extra cost). Cheese platter and wine,then a walk to see the wombats then into a hut for a wonderful hot meal,1 vegetarian and one meat,then to top it off Susie had made a wonderful cake for our wedding anniversary. These host go above and beyond and are just wonderful people. We all now feel like friends. Trisha,Ali Mary and Chris

Robin’s Nest, One of the Best

Fantastic place to stay the night. Everything we could have asked for and more. Room had all the essentials including wifi (in an area with limited reception), and Susie even brought us a platter at night when we hadn’t had much to eat for dinner. Both Peter and Susie were lovely and couldn’t have done more to accomodate us. Breakfast in the morning was incredible. Thanks again, will definitely recommend.

Great place in the valley of cradle mountain

A really nice place with great hosts. The breakfast is wonderful. If you stay at robins nest see if Peter and Susie can provide their home cooked meals for dinner. Their food is great and they are great hosts. We really enjoyed our stay and the room had wonderful views. The location is perfect for all the local landmarks.

A friendly welcome close to Cradle Mountain National Park

Robin's Nest was the perfect place to base myself for three days of bushwalking in nearby Leven Canyon and Cradle Mountain National Park.
The room was very comfortable and the hosts very welcoming. Breakfasts were delicious and made for a great start to a strenuous day of walking.
A lovely sheltered porch in front of the rooms was an excellent place to relax with a cuppa each evening while watching the sun set over the spectacular valley views.
There's nowhere nearby for meals but this isn't a problem as Peter and Susie can sort you out for a meal at a small additional cost!
