The room was tidy and spacious for a family of 4. Was not expecting a fridge to be there so it was a bonus. So convenient to go to shops on foot. We were very satisfied with the lodge.
The only downside we witnessed was that other guests were locked out and there was no staff at the reception. It wasn't even that late, like 6pm. No matter how many times they tried to ring the reception, they could not get though to them. Fortunately, I could help out by ringing the back reception number prigrammed in our room phone. I felt sorry for the other guests.

Neither provided breakfast, but Ctrip offered two options with and without breakfast, I chose the price with breakfast, and Ctrip charged me for breakfast, but I didn't enjoy breakfast.

Very clean. Comfortable king bed. Rear of building as requested. Facilities to make breakfast in the room and a big shared kitchen downstairs, which we didn't use as visiting family. Very convenient for us as family in south Auckland, handy to Manakau, but not the city centre really. Have stayed before, would stay again.

I stayed two nights, room was fine overall but unfortunately I didn't receive fresh towels on day two nor was my rubbish bin collect, which overflowed.

Check-in was easy although the parking lot is a bit narrow to get into and park. Only one way in/out.
