A very extensive breakfast with many choices. Freshly squeezed fruit juice! It was never too much to refill your glass or get an extra cup of coffee. Hygiene was top notch...you could eat off the floor, so to speak.

Fantastic B&B
.It was defenitley one of the best places we have ever stayed at.
The farm is beautiful, the food is extra ordiner, the beds are super comfertable, the horses were beautiful and very well taken care off, but the best of it all are Rita and Geert.
We thank you dear Rita and Geert for the pleasure you offered us during this weekend.
Hope to come again soon.

Was I Dreaming?
In all my many years of travelling, overnighting at De Waeterhoeve and enjoying the hospitality of my hosts Rita and Geert, was an experience like no other and if you are searching for a place to stay just outside Brugge and the rate is within your budget then you can stop searching now.
This Bed & Breakfast is quite simply brilliant.
The moment we arrived we were met with a warm smile by Rita, shown into the dining room and offered a drink to welcome us, anything we wanted, and within minutes we were relaxing with a glass of red wine. We were soon joined by Geert to say ‘hello’.
The property has been built/renovated by Geert, a carpenter by profession, and Rita. It is superbly finished throughout displaying not just skill but love for what has been created.
Rooms are generous, bed comfy and every extra you could care to think of plus some you wouldn’t.
Breakfast is a feast of fresh bread, hams, salad, fruit, yoghurts or if your preference is a cooked omelette that’s no problem. Orange juice was freshly squeezed from oranges on the bar.
If you like horses Geert will introduce you to the 10 – 12 horses they stable on site and you can watch them perform in the paddock. They are very proud of what they have created here and rightly so.
For those wanting to eat dinner locally we went to Plat Prefere in the village (about 15 minutes walk). A little on the dear side (£75 for 2 main courses and 2 wine) but the food was excellent.

Prachtig gebouw met prachtige uitbaters
Prachtig gebouw met een afwerking waar je U op kunt zeggen.
Rita en Geert zijn uitbaters die alles doen om je thuis te voelen.
Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid, kamers zeer netjes. Een aanrader.
