Please note children who are 0 to 11 years old do not pay for accommodation. They must pay only hotel insurance and breakfast. Please note children who are 12 years old or older must pay their accommodation as an additional adult, plus taxes. Minors with Colombian nationality, who stay without one of their parents or legal representative, must present notarized authorization from their parents with identification number, name, signature and copy of the civil registry or adoption decree. Without this, entry is not permitted and penalties apply. Only one adult can enter with a minor. Foreign minors without one of their parents or legal representative need written authorization from their parents, signed and apostilled before the immigration authority of the country of origin, addressed to Colombia, with identity data of the minor and parents. For stays on or after January 1, 2023, residents of Colombia and non-residents staying 60 consecutive days or more will be charged a 19% national sales tax by the property at the time of stay. Travelers on a tourist visa will not be required to pay this tax. The tax may be charged where a room is shared by a taxable and a non-taxable guest.
