Very very gorgeous resort with very friendly staff. Had the best time. Breakfast was really good too. Lots of variety. Accessible to most of the tourist locations.

Excellent Hotel

Had a great two weeks in Sharm at the Renaissance Golden View. The rooms were first class, the food was good, especially in the Italian restaurant which stood out above the rest. The Calamari was our daily lunch stop and the staff at the hotel were very friendly and professional.
Remy in the lounge bar and then beach bar was a stand out employee and Nada in the restaurant was so helpful and friendly. Mohamed in reception was also an asset to the hotel.
The animations staff worked hard and went the extra mile, but unfortunately the general standard of entertainment wasn't great. The evening entertainment lasted about 20 minutes and pretty much the usual Sharm standard, however, the hotel missed some easy wins like a pianist or a guitarist to provide background music in the restaurants or pad out the evenings entertainment. Blasting out really irritating children's music at 1900 whilst people were eating was an own goal, especially as there were no children there to be entertained. Maybe I've been on too many cruises or maybe the thin entertainment was because it was low season.
All in all though, a great hotel

Very nice experience

Superb Hotel! Very good service, especially the beach bar and Rotunda with Ramy, Nada and Team ☺️ The scuba diving is very good, also the diving school with Alessandro and team is perfect! We will definitely come back for diving and relaxing.

The best hotel and I will back again if it possible

It is one of the most wonderful hotels I have visited in Sharm El Sheikh. The service is very special. The hotel staff are wonderful. The hotel deserves more than five stars. The rooms are organized and clean, the food is good and excellent. We thank the workers in the bar department, Mohamed and Khater, for their good service. We thank Robin, the lifeguard, for everything he provides, from taking care of the children and cleaning the sun glasses, and for his permanent smile on his face.

Disappointed Stay at Renaissance Sharm El Sheikh

Unfortunately, our experience at the Renaissance Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh was extremely disappointing. The service was shockingly poor from the moment we arrived — the staff was unhelpful, inattentive, and seemed completely uninterested in hospitality. It felt like we were bothering them just by being there.
The food was a major letdown. It lacked variety, taste, and freshness — definitely not what you’d expect from a hotel of this supposed standard. There’s been a clear drop in quality, and nothing we tried was enjoyable.
As for the activities, there was barely anything happening. The entertainment was almost non-existent, and the vibe was dull and lifeless. We honestly didn’t have any fun during our stay, and it felt like a waste of both time and money.
Would not recommend at all. This place seriously needs a complete overhaul in service, food, and overall guest experience.
