Located just off Barcelona’s prestigious Passeig de Gràcia Boulevard, this luxury hotel offers city views from its rooftop pool. It also has a unique art collection.

A 5* GL Hotel with excellent location, very good facilities and wonderful staff. Recommended
During our stay we also enjoyed the buffet breakfast, the gym and the rooftop restaurant, so I will briefly discuss my experience in each facility.
Breakfast: The breakfast room is a wonderful place; nice decoration, and spacious and diaphanous without being a really very spacious place. While the quantity or rather variety of buffet food is the right one, something else could be added. However the quality is very good, the kitchen service at the moment is very fast. The coffees (we tried several types) are spectacular.
-Rooftop: Very flirty, nice and nice, with pool that we would have liked to enjoy, but there was no ideal climate for it. However we enjoyed the rooftop restaurant. The food (grilled octopus leg) very good. Good selection/offering of combines and beers.
Gym: Well, I'd say it's a weak spot because of the limited space. It is located in the attic, and has an elliptical, a spin bike and a treadmill. It also has a sports station with dumbbells, although the weights only reach 10kg. It's more than enough for exercise, but it's a little limited.
To finish my review, and having personally worked in several hotels in different categories, I would like to put on record my feedback with both pros and cons, with small perceived details that I believe could help to further improve the experience at the Claris hotel.
In our room, there were some details about the equipment that should be remedied:
•The hot tub had a small break in its lacquer, which I personally noticed on the skin when using it. It can hurt or scratch the skin of another host.
•The Nespresso machine gave problems (water loss) a couple of times, but they solved it by changing it for another and giving us more capsules, more details very well solved both by the buttons, as well as by the reception and ruler.
•The bathroom door lock in the room (509) sometimes jammed, and I had to play it a little bit several times to get the slip or latch out of the lock. I think that with a little stricter maintenance, these small details could be repaired.
•In the gym, there are two floorboards that are broken. If you step in an improper place, your foot sinks and you may trip.
•The sliding cupboard door makes a very unpleasant noise both when opening and closing it. Rails/rails should be greased/changed.
All in all, it is an excellent quality/price hotel, with a very good location, a very well managed, well-connected and managed management and departments, and adequate facilities. I think it has subtle aspects where they can improve to sublimate the service they offer.
