We had a last minute change and Renee at the front desk was extremely helpful. The location was amazing and the breakfast was great.

Paper thin walls, but a good value

My biggest complaint at this hotel is that the walls are paper thin. We stayed there one night before going to the cruise terminal to catch a boat. I got virtually no sleep because I had a loud snorer in the room on one side, someone coughing all night on the other side, and somewhere else someone decided to have a loud phone conversation at 4 in the morning that I could hear every word of.
The people who work at the desk were a mixed bag ranging from friendly to indifferent to inattentive.
Other than that, the stay was fine. The breakfast was good and the pool was adorable. The lobby was small, but nice. The rooms were average size and clean.
All in all, a good value for Galveston.

Super clean!

Was super clean and staff was super nice!! Love having a hot breakfast! Love being able to depend that I am getting a clean place to stay for the night. I love the dependability of Best Westerns. Just awesome. Can't say enough good things about Best Westerns.

Spacious room, awesome views!

My husband and I had a very spacious king suite with a private balcony facing the ocean! The hot water was extremely hot (which is GREAT!) so we each could take very long showers or baths & never have to worry about it getting cold on us. However, the bed we had will need a new mattress soon as it is beginning to sag on the left side somewhat. Wasn’t that big of a deal- I just slept in the middle. We did hear foot traffic above us on the next floor. I requested the highest floor but got the 4th floor. I think there’s 5. We did check in a little early so the 5th floor room may not have been ready. Not complaining at all. It really didn’t bother us. Everyone on staff was very nice and answered any questions we had. They serve a continental breakfast. The waffles are in the shape of Texas which I thought was neat! I will for sure stay here again!
