Amazing across the board!!! Staff was SO pleasant and accommodating and the hotel itself is beautiful and clean. My only complaint is the bed was a little hard and the pillows a little soft for my liking, but you cant have it all right! Bed aside, i would stay here again in a heartbeat. Next time i will bring my own pillows :) 9.99/10 - would recommend!!!

Not enough for the price

This place is clean but for 163
dollars the mattress are cheap and no in room coffee. The rooms aren't very soundproof either. Breakfast was ok but not great. Staff were friendly. Would probably not stay again for the money. Nice TV and furnishings.

The continental breakfast was not available our first morning. There wasn't even any coffee, which I thought was really bad considering there were so many stores and restaurants surrounding the hotel. A staff member could've easily gone and purchased coffee. Continental breakfast was the reason we selected that hotel. We ended up having to purchase coffee and breakfast, which should've been included in the hotel price. The second morning, the continental breakfast was hardly decent. The fruit looked old and the parfait machine was not working. The beds were lumpy, and the pillows were really old and not comfortable at all. We will not be staying here again.

Nice little budget experience

This is partly a review of Tru and also this location since this was my first Tru experience:
Tru: A true budget hotel
Everything comes in a dispenser: soaps, lotions in the room - even yogurt at breakfast!
But it’s a full breakfast
The decor is definitely IKEA style and utilitarian
Lots of knobs for hanging things, outlets and workspace areas in the lobby for the business traveler
You will not get shower cap, q tips or anything aside from soaps as amenities.
Housekeeping only comes every other day but the towels were nice and fluffy and enough to get by for that amount of time.
I like that there is coffee all day, the decor is happy, free parking and easy to navigate
The bed was very comfortable and lots of pillows of different depth - nice and comfy
There is no “bar” like you may find in an Aloft - just some bottled wine or beer for purchase in the lobby.
This property:
Absolutely spotless! (New?)
The staff is very helpful and lots of smiles
Located next to an Applebees and small mall with a Kohls next door and a good Thai restaurant next door too. But that’s it folks!
The walls are a little thin- I didn’t hear my neighbors but did hear traffic starting up outside early in the morning.
Net-net - cleanliness is king in my book. Box checked.

Very nice hotel but not a great location. Grat restaurant but very cold. XStaff unable to adjust temp.

Beautiful hotel but nearly deserted. The restaurant was excellent but it was so cold it was ucomfortable. had to go back to room th get my jacket. THere was one other couple there and they also were very cold. Room was very comfortable and staff very friendly.
