Excellent Central American (Honduras + Mexican) restaurant.

Las Tres Fronteras Restaurant, located at 210 County Highway 16 E, West Salem (just east of La Crosse, opposite of Linda's Bakery) became a favorite Central American and Mexican restaurant when they opened in 2023. Food has always been tasty, hot (not spicy hot), served with a great smile. On this frigid January day, we are having their beef soup (slow cooked with veggies in bone marrow broth). Other favorites are molcahete, shimp copan, fajitas and shrimp with spinach. Felipe told me they are adding new TV's to the bar and coming this spring, outdoor eating area and a food truck out front with Latino fast foods.

Arrived very late and found check in easy and seamless. I did try to contact the hotel to advise of our late arrival and my phone calls failed. However, it seems this was really no worry. The room was spotless and quiet. I did like the eco friendly bathroom dispensers. The blanket could have been a little more ample as we felt chilled in the night. breakfast warm and satisfying. Will stay again.

Kids were running through the halls all hours of the night. Banging on doors, yelling outside of rooms. I called the front desk and they said they handled it but they just kept doing it without a care. The body wash bottle fell from its holder and smacked me in the head while taking a bath. The hotel was nice but these things made the stay horrible

Saturday Stay in February 2025

Room was clean and comfortable, although a wee bit tight. The shampoos and lotions are all in dispensers, which is fine, but I think they should carry that through to the hand soap, as well. The pool area was nice and relaxing. Breakfast was average. Would stay again if back in the area.

The reception staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. It was a good experience with low cost rates.
