Excellent place to stay
From the offset, the process of booking and getting all the information required for your stay was great. I downloaded the Sonder app, and the whole stay is managed through that, from entry instructions, contact with the onsite team, mobile key (very useful) and general information on the property and local area.
We arrived a day late due to a flight cancellation, and we're meeting with a lovely team member at the Reception desk, quick process and we continued to our room, used the code provided on the app for the entry door, lift and the room itself. No keys to worry about.
The room itself was clean, very spacious, bed was comfortable, kitchen had a decent amount of plates/ cutlery/ glasses and cookware. Also included a small amount of basics like sponge, bin bags, cleaning supplies and two premaid ice trays in the freezer .
We had a King studio, which served us well. It has a window type Aircon unit which kept us warm, and cooled us down after a long day pretty efficiently. Iron and ironing board was in the room (which the website doesn't state - but is included).
On the ground floor there is a utility/ stock cupboard which holds stock of basic topups, bin bags, soap, dishwasher tabs etc which is useful, especially if you're in need at silly o'clock.
Bath and shower was good, kitchen has a dual hob, and a microwave which was useful. Also have a traditional electric kettle which isn't the norm in the US.
The TV is a ROKU TV which allows you to login to your Netflix etc accounts.
We saw quite a few different team members throughout our stay, all were friendly and professional, and on our checkout we were able to leave our bags before heading out for the day as we had an evening flight home.
Great location with supermarkets (Target, Trader Joe's/ local shops) all very nearby, rooftop bar on the same building although we didn't visit. Subway stations all in easy walking distance with access to the 7 train directly over the road.
All in all, excellent location for someone wanting a little more peace and independence than that of somewhere in Manhatten, easy access to Subway to get where you need to, and a nice chilled vibe. Will definitely be back on our next trip to NYC.

The room was spacious and clean. It’s a quiet area. Near Trader Joe’s and lots of subway stops and trains.
However customer service at this location must improve. I will avoid booking a room here again for that reason.

This lack of professionalism and cleanliness is alarming. I urge potential guests to think twice before booking here—save yourself the trouble and choose a more reliable option!

Guests must provide own credit card which matches name of reservation when checking in.
