We were there for a convention. Received great service room and bathroom were very clean. Slept very comfortable. Would stay there again.

Manager was amazing. Friendly environment. Cook for breakfast is welcoming, generous and respectful. Feels like a home away from home.

A Wonderful Place to stay in Ruidoso

We have stayed at many Marriotts and Hiltons, but found that the Elegante Lodge beat them both. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linen was extraordinary. We were next to the elevator, but the room was very quiet. We heard no sounds from other rooms or in the hall. The thermostat control kept the room at the perfect temperature. Small design features, such as the makeup mirror in the bathroom, instant hot water, etc., were wonderful and much appreciated. The generous breakfast spread - included in the price of the room - offered many options and was delicious. Each member of the staff that we interacted with made us feel like home.

The front desk was uninformative. We were unsure where elevators were, when breakfast was, nor where stairs were. The tables in the room had something sticky on them, some of the dishes in the room were dirty, and there was faulty outlets on the lamps and faulty switch in bathroom. Most the staff we encountered was not friendly with the exception of the breakfast cook and bartender in the evening. Hotel was nice in the lobby and outdoor fire area. Did enjoy the outdoor grills.
