Fantastic experience! 5 stars!
This place is truly beautiful- the spacious accommodation with comphy beds, balcony with a sea view, the service, the breakfast, the pool with soft sunbeds, the beachfront location, amazing views! Everything is so well organised and thought of to give you the best holiday experience you only could dream of. Delicious breakfast is served on your balcony at your preferred time. The tableware, fresh flowers every day and so much attention to detail!

Cold beer and wine in your fridge. Very calm, friendly atmosphere! Thank you very much for making our holiday experience so special! Thank you so much to Maria and her amazing staff - Mirela, Irene and Adriana for looking after us. We had a wonderful, truly wonderful holiday!

A Little Piece of Heaven!!
'A Little Piece of Heaven'... My wife's description of these stunning apartments.
We were greeted by Maria who had fantastic communication with us before and throughout our stay.
We stayed in the Doris apartment which was absolutely perfect. A lovely bathroom, kitchen area, comfy bed and sofa, all of this led out to the private terrace that had the most breathtaking views over Makris Gialos beach (one of the best beaches on the island) where you could also see stunning sun sets.
Avra Private Suites also has its own private pool which is always kept immaculate and has nice comfy sun loungers.
Just a short walk down the steps to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the restaurants and bars in Lassi.
The place was kept immaculate throughout our stay by Adriana who would be in daily to change our towels, make our bed perfectly (even though we had already made it) and carry out a clean of the apartment.
Then there is Mariela.. Wow, words cannot sum up this lady.
She makes the most amazing home made breakfast banquets that were delivered fresh to our terrace every morning at a time suitable to us.
Every morning was something different and there was so much of it... We didn't need to buy any lunch.
If Mariela were to ever release her own recipe book, I certainly would buy it, everything was amazing.
A big thank you to everyone for making this our best holiday - we will definitely be back!

The holiday accommodations of dreams!
What can I say, the only negative is I’m not sure how we will all cope without the amazing views, fabulous breakfast and friendly management and housekeeping team.
This place has it all views to die for, a location just minutes from one of the best beaches on Kefalonia and a breakfast of champions served for you on your balcony daily.
We stayed in the penthouse suite, Thea, 6 adults and 3 children and there was so much space for us. Three generous bedrooms and three spacious bathrooms and what can we say about the balconies, one of which offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean.
The pool was lovely with comfortable beds and umbrellas.
Amenities were minutes away, shops, restaurants and bars.
Maria and her team were just so accommodating. We could not have asked to more.

Absolutely MAGICAL!
We stayed at Avra Private Suites at the end of June 2024 for 6 nights and it was simply magical! We are still dreaming about it and probably will continue to dream about it until we return!
Our room's large terrace faced the incredibly water/beach, which we soaked up every day. The room itself was well-appointed and the air conditioning worked very well (which, as a reader of this review, may be of value). The grounds were stunning but perhaps the most notable aspect of this incredible place was the staff. Yes, for starters, Maria is so welcoming and helpful with all things. But the morning breakfast served on our terrace was brought to us by the most lovely woman, who made the delicious breakfast every day. We still talk about those breakfasts--which unlike a lot of Greek hotels--was different every morning and tailored to our tastes and preferences!
The property is walking distance to the beachy town--where you can eat dinner at Nefeli (yum) or shop for needed items at any one of the several stores.
Last but not least, we went to the same beach every day because it was that phenomenal. All we had to do was exit our suite and take some stairs down to a stunning sandy beach with chairs for rent. We loved Kefalonia so much but our stay at Avra was a very big part of that love. WE WILL RETURN!!!

Avra suites, something much more than simple accommodation!
We stayed at Avra Suites during the Easter holidays 2024 and the whole experience exceeded all our expectations. Large bedrooms, spotless bathrooms, absolute silence.. You only enjoy the sound of the sea! Breakfast is the ultimate culinary experience! Handmade pies, jams, freshly squeezed juice !
