excellent experience
The accommodation was very pleasant and the whole thing seemed very family friendly, since there were few people there in June, when we visited this hotel. The staff was very nice, they helped us with everything when we needed it, and as for food, a snack bar was available from morning to evening, where there were excellent breakfasts, lunches and dinners. As for the rooms, they were smaller than we thought and the shower in the room was very small. Also, toilet paper was not allowed to be flushed down the toilet in the rooms, which was a big minus. the location was good because it was quiet and not in the city center but at the same time it was quite close if you have a rented scooter or quad bike. it took about 20 minutes on foot, so I definitely recommend some means of transport for more comfortable moving to the city and the surrounding towns. The beach was good and really seemed like a private beach just for us, but the entrance to the sea was worse in some places, because there were big stones, but right next to the hotel beach there was also a beautiful sandy entrance to the sea. Staying in June definitely had its advantages because we really relaxed, it wasn't crowded with tourists and even though we went for a sunset trip from the hotel to a beautiful sandy beach about 5 minutes from the hotel, we could enjoy our privacy and have the beach to ourselves all to myself. My boyfriend and I would definitely like to come back in the future and our stay was great.

Great Apartments in good location
Located on the beach, with well kept pool, with children's section, a nice garden, with plenty of sun beds. The hotel is quiet and the neighbouring up market hotels are also quiet Pool side snack bar. Rooms have free; safe, WiFi and AC. Wifi is not very fast and drops out. Sandy beach in front of the hotel leads to sea with access points to avoid the rocks, no sun beds on the beach. A couple of restaurants, supermarket within a few minutes walk. Car park for residents. The downtown Malia beach area is 2km away a 25 min walk. Rooms are small, all have small balcony with a table and two chairs, There is no room inside for the table and chairs. Rooms have very limited storage space, but nicely decorated and well maintained. No TV. Nice small bathroom, with very small shower cubicle with no curtain, lacks shelves for toiletries and hooks for towels. Water was hot all the time apart from one day when it was cloudy, likely solar water heater, water pressure is good. Kitchenette in small area, sink, fridge, two ring stove and utensils, no microwave or oven. Cleaning was first class, but rooms only serviced every 2 or 3 days. The whole hotel is kept very clean and tidy. We enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing holiday.

Silver deserving of Gold
Visited Silver Sun Apartments with my wife for a beach holiday.
First impressions can be deceiving but do not let the fact that this gem lies down a small road put you off.
Having booked transfer from the airport we were dropped at the end of the road and walked the 250 metres to the hotel.
From the moment we met Katerina in the lobby at 1am, she had waited up especially for us, we were hit with how clean and welcoming this place was.
Room 202 was a studio with seaview and again was immaculate. The view looking across the po area onto the beach was worth the money alone and one that we never tired of from sunrise to sunset.
The pool bar and pool facilities are open all day providing a range of ice cold drinks and freshly cooked food all at prices that match bars in the town without the need to leave the amazing view.
All the family ay a part in making this gem a place you will never forget and one we will definitely return to.
Fantastic place, fantastic views and the most friendly and welcoming people I have ever met running a hotel.
If you are reading this and do not take the plunge and book you will regret it I guarantee.
Cannot wait to return.

Would highly recommend
Beautiful beach, comfortable and clean apartments with gorgeous little balconies, friendly and helpful staff and a lovely pool. Affordable, safe, comfortable, clean and pretty, this place was an unexpected treasure. My friends and I spent three very enjoyable nights there, and were sad to leave!
