Great experience lovely staff

Fanatic hotel right from the start a very warm and welcoming staff the lobby is beautiful rooms are a little dated but have everything you need in them big tv comfortable bed air conditioning and WiFi rooms very clean and plenty of stores and restaurants on site and train station to links all over Japan just a 10 minute walk up the road plenty to do in the area temples and the sky tree 15 minute taxi ride or if you like to walk like we did you see plenty on the way amazing place

Love this hotel because of the shuttle bus to Tokyo disneyland and tokyo disneysea. Made it soo convenient. This is my 3rd time staying at hotel east 21 and we really love it.

Too far out and tired

This hotel is too far out of Tokyo if you want to see the sights and be in the heart of the city. There is an underground nearby, but it is on the busy commuter underground line.
Very tired hotel, beds badly stained and dirty and small rooms.
Lack of western breakfast food options.
If holidaying in Tokyo please do not stay here.

In general, the facilities are old and the registration procedure and breakfast vouchers, etc. are very old fashioned. The variety of the breakfast is good to start for the day. It is inconvenient that there is no inhouse laundromat. The hotel introduces the nearby one, however, it is not so near and moreover, the facility there doesn't have any instructions in foreign languages. The desk light on the working table is very old fashioned, which is very cumbersome. In the hotel premisis there is a supermarket, which is convenient.

Family trip, last night in Japan. Hotel well located on top of podium with supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, all the services that you might need.
Hotel is old, you can see its former grandeur in the fittings and finishing etc. It is clean and well maintained tho. Limo bus pickup for Narita and Haneda airports from doorstep.
Only negative was the grumpy and rude female staff at check in counter on 20/11/24 at around 1930h. She snatched the passports from my hand, snapped short replies, showed a most unpleasant unsmiling face thru the 5 min check in process. In 10 days of our Japan holiday, she was the only rude and rough person we encountered. Suggest hotel counsel and retrain the person.
