Excellent place for quality food and VFM stay.

Excellent food, service is good. Rooms are good for a couple. Always feel they should add a mini fridge in the rooms. But it's a VFM place and staff are very polite and friendly. The family rooms in the old building need to be done up especially the bathroom. It's clean but now looks very old.

Worst place ever, rip off, don't make the same mistake as us.

The place looked absolutely the same since the last time I was there, nearly 10 years ago......and even then it wasn't great. Everyone there from the receptionist to the staff around the car park, all looking for a quick buck on the side. Reception staff are very rude and unable to deal with guests checking out as well as queries at the desk and potential check ins. He plainly told me that we were an hour earlier and should just sit till being called yet he checked multiple guests in. I had called the reception 15 mnts before that to ask if a room was available and was told to come to the hotel reception and check out the room which was why we were there in the first place. The gentleman also suggested that coming to the counter would help us make a deal in person where he could reduce the price and that was an indication also.
Anyways whatever happens is for the best and my wife witnessed it all sitting in the lobby area for 30 mnts, and we called another hotel where they were very courteous and obliging and checked in there, got a brilliant sea facing room (Sandy don't have any), for 1500 rs cheaper than Sandy and with breakfast. They didn't even charge for our 8 year old child although we asked for a mattress. That's hospitality for you, it's not all about making money !!!!

A Sandy resort without Sand

We visited this place for a 2 nights stay. The place is located on the main road connecting Daman and has rooms on the top floor above reception as well as a few cottages on the side. The rooms have no ventilation and rely on ACs. The staff is courteous and the service is good. It has a bar and a restaurant. It has a play area for the kids. However, the room conditions and food quality is average. The resort is used mainly for the marriage function for which it has a large lawn and pool party provision. Due to this, the normal guests feel lots of inconveniences.

Lack of Facilities

Recently visited the sandy resort, It was a average stay, Following facilities are missing against the cost they are charging
- Toiletries are not provided properly
- Only 1lt drinking water is free with room
- There is no kettle provided in the room
- Food quality was not good
- Drunk family making noise at midnight 2:30am
- AC in my room was making terrible noise
You can get better choices in this cost

Nice calm place ,beach front is made new ,stayed in hotel Sea rock.Good location but very poor maintenance. Went to attend wedding ,next door hotel Miramar is great place good restaurant and lawn is excellent place for wedding.
