You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Unviersity of Perugia, Teatro Comunale Morlacchi and Etruscan Well. A blast from the past

Hotel dated in the center of Sansepolcro, which preserves features of the past that accompany a very historic town. Small room although very pretty and bathroom with similar features. Very accurate cleaning and room kit complete with everything, even slippers that in the 4 star hotels previously booked I did not find. Adjacent to the room there is a lovely terrace with the village skyline as a framework. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift. Not providing breakfast on site, a voucher is provided for a drink in a bar/patisserie with excellent products. Owner really affable and empathetic.

Weekend away

We were guests at this property in April for two nights. Hotel in the centre, very rustic but the rooms are clean and spacious. The staff were really friendly, they recommended some really good places to eat and for breakfast they gave us a voucher in a very good pastry shop a stone's throw from the hotel. We had a good time. The only flaw is the poor soundproofing of the rooms, but in the end it is acceptable

Quiet Service - Wonderful Breakfast and Lunch - Loud Location

Paula and her brother embrace pilgrims with a genuine enthusiasm for a mission of caring for the stranger and the traveler. Their quiet service is enough to humble the pilgrim and inspire to greater service at home when we switch places and become the host to the other, the stranger. Paula handles luggage transfers, recommendations, directions, and more with calm, quiet confidence and helpfulness. The Albergina is centrally located in San Sepolcro, making it easy fo the pilgrim to enter town, rest, and see the pleasant wonders of San Sepolcro, with its many high-quality linen shops, jewelry and book stores, and abundant restaurants, cafes, and gelaterias, and the well-recognized churches and museums. The rooms are ample, amply furnished, and very clean. The breakfast prepared for pilgrims in the morning goes beyond the standard European fare to a meal that can sustain the traveler for a good distance, including yogurt and granola, pastries, abundant fresh fruit, coffee and orange juice, and more. I suspect that Paula will be ok with our mentioning that she also had an abundant set of fixings including cheese, bread, olive oil, salad, and salami for Lunch sandwiches. Paula and her brother are also videographers and work with Luigi who zips around the area on his Vespa helping pilgrims with directions, photo-taking, and other logistics. He welcomes pictures and comments on the status of the trail, as he is assembling them in his retirement for a book, or facebook page, or who knows! The one note of discord is the loud location which, at least on a Saturday evening along a street with restaurants and entertainment, can be expected to provide enough noise to keep one awake at night if the windows are open for some of San Sepolcro’s fresh night air.

Great stay along Saint Francis’ way!

We have been on the road for 8 days walking from town to town and this has been a great stay! Rooms are beautiful with antique furniture, the owners are very gracious and helpful, wifi is very strong and the water shower is strong and hot as you wish. We even got slippers for the room!

two hundred years of service and it shows

This is a small boutique hotel with only 4 rooms
However the restaurant was and the maitre d'y was a goldmine of local information
I had local ravioli and my wife had the most amazing rice pudding
The accompanying Umbrian white wine was splendid
This is a hotel not to be missed
