Historic hotel well located

Luxurious hotel well located - about a 10 minute walk to St Mark’s Square and a further 5 minutes to the Rialto bridge. We booked a suite which was on the top floor - the room was spacious with lovely views across the city’s rooftops. The check in experience was very friendly and the lady on reception gave us some tips on where to get a well priced gondola. The breakfast was brilliant with a wide variety. The hotel has information around the rooms giving detail on the history of the building which I found interesting. We didn’t see any other hotel in Venice when we walked around centrally that looked like it came close to this hotel - would very much recommend.

My room is located on the ground floor. The view is not good and it’s facing the entrance. So we have to keep the curtain closed all the time. Breakfast choice is limited but acceptable. It’s a bit inconvenient if you arrive or leave at Venice Santa Lucia station and carry heavy luggages. Since we need to catch train at early morning, we actually paid for water taxi for a 10-15 min ride to station.

Sometimes awarding 6* would be good

Our 5th Hotel in 6 trips to Venezia but easily the best. We will return.
Just 24 rooms, spread over 4 floors.
Short walk to Academia Bridge and only 15 minutes to Rialto or St Mark's.
Soooo quiet.
Outstanding staff Michaela on Reception in the morning and Andrea the weekend Barman. Delightful guy with a great choice in Cool Jazz. Perfect.
The weekday Carlos, nearly a Heavy Metal man, not so relaxing.
Breakfast Room where Lord Byron may have eaten, certainly stayed here in early 19th century. Died 1824 aged just 36.
Wide range of choices for Breakfast with two lovely Waitresses. Sorry names escape me.
Just so friendly, really a home from home.

Bellisimo Venezia a la Palazzo Keller

A vintage hotel with great ambiance, great breakfast included, updated and nicely appointed rooms (including espresso maker coffee and tea provided, wonderfully helpful, kind and friendly staff. In the spacious second floor bar friendly and humourous bartenders are ready to serve you. Hotel location is within easy walking distance to shopping areas, restaurants, adjacent and St. Marco Plaza, museums and more.

Great find

This hotel is in a great location - everything felt like it was only 10 minutes walk way. There was a fabulous welcome, and helpful staff. The hotel had a great atmosphere and was beautifully decorated. Lovely room, very comfortable bed, and nice toiletries! Oh, and the breakfast was exactly what we wanted! Loved it.
