The cleanroom, AC is good. Toilet is clean and nice bathtub. Breakfast is good as well. We will definitely go back.

Ignore the star rating but okay for price.
Unusually we didn’t book this hotel ourselves- we used an agent and to be honest I’d have preferred to pay a little more and stay somewhere else. But this is okay for the money. Room was very small but warm and clean . Comfy bed and good shower. Soap and hairdryer provided also a kettle and coffee (no milk) and three ginger tea bags! Safe was broken. I didn’t like the fact that this hotel has no visible staff and no information is provided unless you WhatsApp a question. We had to WhatsApp to ask where the breakfast room was as it can only be accessed via the second floor then going downstairs back to the ground floor! There is some sort of small kitchen in the lobby but no info given as what we could use there, if anything. Some vending machines also in the lobby. The corridors are rather dark and depressing and they and the lifts stink of take away food. We had breakfast included in the price and on the first morning at 8.30 there was literally some bits of cold food left and no sign of any staff to help. A disgrace. We almost didn’t bother on day two but there is nowhere else nearly. But to be fair this time it was acceptable. The location isn’t great as it’s a good 30 mins from old town and not a lot of nearby restaurants. But Bolt taxis are plentiful and cheap. There’s also a supermarket very nearby.
To sum up I’d say it’s okay if you’re on a budget but otherwise stay somewhere more central and welcoming. .

Staying at the Rixwell Gertrude Hotel was a delightful experience. The hotel offered a perfect blend of comfort and charm in a historic setting. My room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring modern amenities that ensured a pleasant stay. The decor was tasteful, with a nod to classic elegance that enhanced the overall ambiance. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, providing excellent service and helpful recommendations for exploring the area. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with a variety of delicious options that catered to different tastes. The hotel's location was ideal, offering easy access to local attractions and transportation. Overall, Rixwell Gertrude Hotel provided a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the city. I left with fond memories and would definitely consider staying here again.

Booked for 3 days, it is not really close to the old town and even less to the Art Nouveau architecture area, which is a 15-20 minute walk away. Small room and breakfast reduced to a minimum a little sad. Small bathroom, but well functioning. Paid indoor parking with 7 € per day. Certainly does not correspond to the 4 stars denounced, at least by Italian standards

the hairdryer didn’t work, it was just making really irritating and noisy noise, and the air conditioning also was really stubborn, sometimes it made a noise like a big fat fart
