Very solid hotel close to train station and main square, bus and tram stop nearby. Big room, recently renovated. Only drawback is smell and dry air in the room, probably still due to renovation. Competitive price, I would stay again.

Hotel was a great location for getting the bus from and back to Wroclaw airport, which was one of the reasons we chose it. It's a straight walk to the main square, about 10 to 15 minutes. Also a mini market across the road (and a little one in the hotel). Rooms were quiet- didn't really hear any outside noises or people in the halls. The standard room had a frige and kettle, which was handy.
On check in we were advised cleaning was by request to keep it eco friendly. Fine by us and we were only staying 2 nights so didn't need it. The housekeeper did ask us when we saw her in the hall if we needed anything.
Only slight negative thing i would say is that the pictures of the standard room didn't reflect what we got. The bathroom pictures were accurate but the wallpaper in the room was less modern- i guess some rooms have been upgraded. Not really an issue, just not as pictured.
Would stay again!

Very pleasant stay

We stayed with acquaintances for four nights here at Scandic.
Booking well in advance. Which is certainly recommended, especially in the run-up to Christmas.
The Scandic is very central, to the center you walk about 10 minutes.
The car is best left in the hotel and the best way to move is by public transport or on foot.
Check-in was quick and parking in the Scandic's underground car park was also problem-free.
Our room was modern and good in size. Bathroom etc. all ok and according to the hotel class. Cleanliness anyway.
It would be nice if the most important German TV channels were shown. Especially ARD and ZDF. That's missing, of course.
In the evening you can still eat and drink at the bar and restaurant.
Breakfast surprised with really delicious food. Typical also with mushroom dishes. The offer is large and in parts thank God away from the usual food in Germany. And that's what I expect. So a breakfast we could already look forward to in the evening!!!
Nothing runs empty either - the friendly staff refill quickly. I was 100% satisfied with the breakfast!!! Faith here is very much freshly prepared in the hotel kitchen.
All staff were helpful, flexible and very friendly.
On another visit to Wroclaw, I'm sure I'll check here first for a room.
Highly recommended!!!

Nice place and very good service!

Staff was friendly, our room was ready early and everything went well. Breakfast was varied. There are real sauna, not just warm room.

Not like the old days

Already 8 years that I stay several times a year to scandic different nights. Every time I notice some kind of deterioration in the hotel. The hotel is not what it used to be in terms of quality. Breakfast is getting worse. It says less and less.
