Promising hotel and resort destination which is recommended.......
The hotel and surrounding grounds were impressive, clean and tidy on arrival.
There was plenty of room in the hotel car park. The range of trees, bushes and plants were excellent and it seems that great care had been taken to position these in the right place.
Check in was dealt with efficiently which included completion of a yes/no Covid information sheet (not sure what the hotel would have done if we had said we hadn't been vacinated or what general use the information was to the hotel) I presume hotel staff have all been vacinated? The reception desk could have done with some flowers but that is just my opinion. As we were finishing off our check in another customer arrived and politely asked for a map, to which our receptionist asked him to be patient and that he would get him one after finishing with us....we both thought that the receptionist could have been a little more diplomatic with his response.... We also were dealt with by other receptionists during our stay and overall they were all friendly but really would benefit from customer skills training as their inexperience when dealing with people showed....in our view we got the feeling that they were limited in what to say to make a customers stay memorable, and simply opted to provide the minimum of information and we were left feeling uninformed about what to expect during our stay...we had to ask for a map and they were not sure exactly when the restaurant closes....they seemed to suggest that it all depends on how many customers there are....
The room was very comfortable and furnishings were of a good standard. We had windows we could open (although it wasn't possible to open one of them) and the air conditioning worked very well. The bathroom was nicely laid out and plenty of room in the wardrobe. The TV worked well, but surprised we could only access 7-8 channels as there was no signal for the other channels. If I had the choice I would replace the carpet with a hardwood floor.
Although the hotel does not have a restaurant there is one just a very short walk from the hotel. The restaurant is new and impressive in design making use of high quality materials. Inside there is plenty of seating and it has a very inviting atmosphere. We sat outside and were served by a helpful and friendly waiter. The meals were well prepared and tasted fine. Overall our meals arrived promptly and the waiter was very attentive.
The beach and surrounding forests provided a definate holiday feel and it was ideal for families as the children had a lot of choice to keep them occupied....it was really helpful to see a good number of high quality toilets and showers which were easily accessible. I would say however that as the restaurant and bars normally close at 9pm there isn't anything else to do for adults or for people without children. There happened to be an organised party when we were there which although finishing around 12.00pm only consisted of disco music played from a bar. (we were told there would be a band playing by 'reception' but clearly no band.....) However on a normal day I suspect people just return to their rooms at 9pm. It was very good to see that when people had left the beach, that a small team of resort staff walked along the beach picking up any rubbish.....I also noticed during the day a member of staff monitoring swimmers which was reassuring and a big health and safety plus....
We both slept very well and the air conditioning certainly helped as it had been a very warm day. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and everything you would expect from a 3 star hotel. There was a cold buffet....ham, eggs, cheeses, bread etc...and hot dishes...scrambled eggs, poached eggs, sausages etc..... Initally we found it difficult to know where breakfast was being served....we assumed it was the restaurant but it was locked....we noticed other people walking around the side of the restaurant and a sign showed the way. Just before going to breakfast we checked out at reception and left our bags in our car.....there were no obvious signs as to where to go to for breakfast and the receptionist could have told us that breakfast was being served in the upper part of the restaurant. Good customer service skills would have dealt with this.....this kind of simple piece of information makes all the difference to someones stay at a hotel.
In conclusion we both agreed that the hotel and resort are located in a beautiful area surrounded by forests and complimented with a clean water lake and beach. Reception staff would benefit from ongoing customer skills training as they are the first point of contact when customers arrive and their behaviour can turn an ordinary experience into a memorable one. It would also be helpful to have a late opening lounge area for adults which could be used after 9pm or at least for the restaurant to stay open longer. (there must be many adults who would like to stay up a little later than 9pm) It was good to see that it is possible to use the other sandy beach for camping and there were many tents present when we were there. Good to see that the resort is being developed and I feel this is a promising start to provide an even better experience for customers.

Just stayed at hotel Bajka for my friends wedding this hotel is well presented
The rooms were small but comfortable
On the down size there is no air conditioner in some of the rooms that’s not good
The wedding was well done the catering staff gave an excellent service and very friendly and professional I would have given and extra star only for no aircon apart from that this hotel is a must visit if you’re in the area

Stunning wedding
My friends got married here this past July and I can't commend the hotel and staff enough. The hotel and grounds themselves are stunning and very well maintained. Lots of bare wood everywhere gives a really rustic, warm welcoming feel. The rooms are relatively basic but have everything you need and the en suites more than make up for this. There is a man made lake on site which is great for sunbathing on the beach or going for a quick dip to cool off on a hot day.
The wedding itself was fantastic and the staff great. We had a bit of a scare with the weather (it was an outside wedding) and they were ready to move everything to a venue inside at a moments notice which helped relieve some stress from the bride and groom. The food was delicious and everything came out smoothly.
Would definitely recommend and would return here on another trip. An added bonus was 3 nights over a weekend only cost me about £65 which is amazing value for such a beautiful place withe breakfast included too!
