Excellent location, but manic organisation due to large groups in situ.
Very large two tower hotel on the Kowloon promenade overlooking Hong Kong Island. An excellent location with easy access to the Metro ( 2 min walk away ) Very busy in reception as over 250 guests were in transition to cruise ships. This meant all the communal rooms were full, the breakfast buffet crowded and luggage stored in reception. Bedrooms with sea view were large, with a lot of empty space but clean. Beds comfortable. Bathroom good.No luggage stand. The hotel was fine for a few days stay. Many other amenities available in the hotel.

View was great
Check in took some time
They cancelled our deposit with booking dot com and charged us the full amount ( I’m still waiting for my deposit refund )
I’m not sure why they did this ?
Our room was in the Tower block with harbour view ( the view was fantastic )
Our bed was super comfy the bathroom was very small plus had a bath with a shower over it was incredibly difficult to get in and out of and I slipped and bashed my leg and had an incredibly painful bruise as a result. Would not recommend for older people as very dangerous.
There was a fridge but no mini bar
We ordered room service and had to pay on delivery ( very strange as not had to do that anywhere else )
We saw lots of weddings in the hotel while we were there.
Breakfast was very expensive so we didn’t eat at the hotel we went to a coffee shop close by which was lovely.
The hotel is quite out of the way but area is quiet
The one big downside was that the pool was closed for maintenance which we did not know when we booked after looking online I noticed they seem to do this every year Dec till March April
I should point out we saw no evidence of any maintenance going on.
Had we known about the pool we would have booked a different hotel.
The small amount of staff we encountered were all pleasant
We ate at the Japanese one night the food was great and the staff really really lovely.
After walking all around Hong Kong for 5 days I probably wouldn’t pick this hotel to stay at again it is a bit too far away from everything.

The hotel is huge, but it’s really not a five star hotel. The check-in process is crazy, people stand in lines to check in for hours, so be smart and just go directly to the receptionists ignoring their bickering about the checking time and reception opening time.
The hotel doesn’t provide water and usual shower necessities in the rooms (the say they do it for the Earth protection against plastic), however, you can purchase all that at the reception.
The room design seems nice to the eyes until you actually start using the room as it lacks closet space and storage space in general. However, if you choose a room with harbor view (we stayed at the new tower block on 33rd floor) you won’t notice all the minors ‘cause the view is really stunning.
The fitness center could be renewed and the pool could be cleaner.
The breakfast selection is various, but it lacks European food and provides yes mainly with Chinese and some Indian meals. The breakfast buffet is open from 7 AM to 10 AM, so keep in mind that if you are even one minute late you won’t be allowed to the restaurant. 
The location of the hotel is not really central, it’s about 2 km away from all the activities, however, it’s close to the big bus station and to the metro. And there is also a big promenade right outside the hotel that leads you along the Victoria Harbor to the Stars Alley, K11 mall, Hong Kong museum of Art and the ferry pier.

The elevators lack key card access, making them feel less secure. I had to switch elevators and walk a long distance to the main lobby for water, which was inconvenient.
