It was an overall pleasant experience staying here. The check in and check out process was quick. The location was very convenient. The shower was great and comes with a bath tub, hot water was consistent. Maybe just the heater wasn't, I think this is a common thing around Shanghai where they don't realli provide heating. And oh ya, they didn't realli tell me which floor the breakfast was at, but it was a minor thing. All in all a very comfortable stay.

Hotel is strategically located with easy to access metro line linking to most iconic places of interest. We are returning customers as day 2 we left for Hangzhou they helped to store our luggages. Day 4 when we returned to stay for remaining 6 nights hotel manager Cora welcomed us back with room upgraded with panaroma view! In between she sent us fruit basket and also will check on us if everything gd! Very impressed with her customer service! Will return to stay at this hotel hotel when I return to Shanghai again! She made our stay a memorable one! Mariott always live up to 5* standard! Well done! ❤️Shanghai!

Exceptional Service and Perfect Location
My stay at Shanghai Marriott Marquis City Centre was fantastic! The service was top-notch—despite receiving multiple Taobao parcels daily, the staff were incredibly patient, always helping to locate them and even delivering them directly to my room.
As the Executive Lounge was under renovation, they thoughtfully provided complimentary bento boxes sent to our room, which was a lovely touch. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, featuring two double beds that easily accommodated four people.
The location couldn't be more convenient. With McDonald’s and Luckin Coffee right next door and the bustling Nanjing Road just a 5-minute walk away, everything I needed was within easy reach.
Highly recommend this hotel for its impeccable service, thoughtful gestures, and unbeatable location.

No 1 shopping mall
Walking distance to 南京路步行街! Amazed
Their gym is very very complete!
Staffs are very nice, helping me with my didi booking, always offer to open the car door for me
And insist on helping me with the luggage,
