Amazing hotel in shenyang

It was amazing place of hotel in center of city with alot of mall and shopps around you and transportation the food was good and breakfast so good the hotel old but clean the respsion big but little place to site there is also galleries and show and many activities but in same price maybe you can find better

A cost-cutting hotel

Hotel rooms were poorly lit, very dim even when all available lamps were switched on. Central air-condition system was not activated despite complaints that the rooms were uncomfortably warm. Bar lights in all guest rooms were not connected to power. Both spare power point outlets did not have electricity. Had to use one of the power outlets for table lamp to charge my camera and computer, causing the room to be even dimmer. Housekeeping was unhelpful. Buffet breakfast was very limited. The woman frying eggs was very grumpy. After staying for 2 nights, our group of 22 persons moved to another hotel because hotel management refused to activate its central air-condition system despite uncomfortably high temperature.

good hotel and nice service

What I liked most in this hotel is its location downtown of the city and many big shops and mall near also the service so good and have many good proprieties , also it is clean bus line and taxi and night clubs shopping and every thing around you so you will not feel boring

Great People and Delicious Food

The hotel is in a great location if you like shopping, fun and people watching at the famous walking street. The metro is within walking distance. The room rate is much less than I expected.
Although, like most of China, there is some construction going on in the area.
The hotel staff is very nice and friendly. Wilson was a big help and eager to assist me.
Michael, the owner of the restaurant, is a great guy and his restaurant has the best food with a wide variety on the menu. I tried several dishes and kept coming back for more.

If you need to stay in Shenyang, Tianbao Hotel is a fine choice. It is located next to a Wal-Mart and 2 large Malls. It was fairly quiet inside the room. There are many places to eat within walking distance. The room rate includes 1 breakfast buffet. There is a very decent selection of foods available. They have a fair choice of both Western and Chinese foods. I read some previous comments complaining about food choices, but I could not understand this criticism. Folks, this is not Denny's or IHOP. The service in the restaurant and hotel was excellent, except for the usual delays in checking in or out. Any problems that i had with the room were taken care of rapidly and there were some English speaking employees available. The beds were of the usual Chinese cement type. This can be helped by asking for 1-2 more comforters and sleeping on top of them. The room was large and the bathroom fair sized. Some cons might be a lack of a room safe and a refrigerator that got cold. All in all, a very good experience at about $45 a night for a king bed. I will certainly stay again if I find myself in Shenyang
