Good Base for the Savvy Traveller
This is budget but very functional as a place to get your head down at night after exploring Singapores many wonderful sites & eating out at some of the best street food outlets in the world.
The rooms are clean, air conditioned, cleaned everyday (if you wish) . No food is served on site, but is very close to Geylang Rd & the plethora of restaurants that serve all variety of Asian cuisine day & night.
The area is a bit seedy, but for the savvy traveller, this isn't a problem , more of an adventure. Totally enjoyed my short time here & would possibly use again if coming to Singapore.

Thank you for staying with us and spotting a great bargain! Many travellers have found our hotel to be value-for-money and appreciate the savings, as they are out of the hotel for most of the day, spending their time with fun-filled activities here in Singapore. Our hotel has also received many positive compliments from our guests for our clean rooms, complete amenities and warm hospitality.
Geylang district is in fact one of the most vibrant and authentic areas of Singapore, and many of our guests have shared in their reviews that they have felt safe and comfortable while staying with us despite the bias with the district. We hope to see you again on your next visit to Singapore!

One key card stopped opening the door to our room a day after our arrival. A replacement card was issued promptly.
Room was small but serviceable, though the bathroom door did not have a lock, and was very difficult to keep it closed due to a weak or defective door latch.
Staff were friendly, but were slow and odf limited effectiveness in dealing with very noisy and disruptive guests across the hall from our room, despite multiple complaints from different guests. The noise problem persisted for several nights.
Location of the hotel, though nominally in Singapore's historic red light district', was not problematic. The walk to the MTR station is simple and well-lit, though heavy bicycle traffic on the shared pathway along Kallang Road made walking a bit of a challenge.
On balance, it was a decent place to stay on a limited budget, and within reasonable distance of public transit.

The hotel itself is average, the staff is polite but doesn’t try to do the extra mile to make your stay more pleasant. The room is functional and clean but very small and lack of any extra. The hotel is safe and practical.
Conclusion it is perfect for one night, well connected with bus and metro to visit the city but not pleasant enough to stay longer than one night.
