Lovely food and service in an outstanding environment. Go there!

The tourist hotel is an experience in itself. So beautifully renovated in just the right style. Delicious food in beautiful portions in a well-composed menu. The wine package was a perfect match. Super nice, friendly and caring staff. A gourmet restaurant with a warm family twist.
Clearly worth a visit in itself, but to combine it with a full-day hike with a packed lunch from the hotel at beautiful and varied Omberg made the visit a holistic experience beyond the ordinary. A must try simply.

Nice family hotel...

…with a homely atmosphere. Interior details that enhance the feeling. As several other visitors have written, “a feeling of the Danish series Badhotellet”. Nice common areas and dining room. We knew even before booking that there was no shower and toilet in the rooms, otherwise we would probably have been disappointed. Four commons in the hallway. However, no problem for us as we were only three guests. Very positive reception upon arrival.

We were met by...

…grey cloudy Östgötalätt. Could this be something? The reception was very friendly and positive. We were shown around where everything is that we needed. “If you want anything, just let me know”. The whole hotel breathes a calm and harmonious atmosphere. We got a nice room with balcony and views of the plain and Lake Vättern when the fog lifted. Although the rooms do not have their own shower and toilet, it is well worth this rating.
What about food? It's its own chapter that's really worth the visit.

World-class food and service

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food is among the best served in Sweden local produce with its own touch. The area offers incredible nature and culture experiences, on Omberg there are fantastic hiking trails running tracks.

We went and got to experience a magical
7 course Christmas dinner!
They are always more than good at Omberg. Their chefs really do their utmost.
But this time it was magical and so thoughtfully beautiful, tasty
Will definitely be back!
Sleeping over is also a big shot. Quiet nice beautiful room
Breakfast something to look forward to. Nothing missing
The waitstaff. Everyone gets full marks
