Everything is fine

An uncomplicated Booking Referral, an extremely nice welcome, very well-kept rooms, the beautiful location directly on the lake and in addition a delicious breakfast with everything the heart and - above all: the stomach - desires: we will gladly come back.

Super very Swiss hotel

Loved my stay at the Lowen hotel ticked all the boxes. The corner room was spacious with 4 big windows giving a reasonable view of the lake. The staff at reception were great. The location in the old town opposite the lake can't be beaten. Nice to find a family run hotel. My only grumble breakfast could be better especially the bakery quality and coffee. So hope next time I stay it will be improved then I can give 5 star

Good Hotel in very good location at the lake

Nice renovated Hotel in Zug very close to the lake and also the center. Staff is very friendly and the rooms are nice - some are facing lake of Zug. It is a smaller, nice and cozy place - not that cheap, rather on the higher end of pricing, but this you know before... All in all it was nice and it is recommended as there are also hardly any alternatives around.

Highly recommend Hotel Lowen

Hotel Lowen is a beautiful traditional Swiss hotel situated in a spectacular location overlooking the lake. The hotel's staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel when staying in lovely Zug.

The early bird catches the worm...

Business meeting for two tomorrow at 9:30. Croissants and coffee? “We don’t have any left.” Oh yes. But the restaurant opens at 9:00. 30 minutes later, the bread basket is empty. And what do the hotel guests eat?
“Is there an alternative to croissants, e.g. bread from the kitchen?” “No, the kitchen doesn’t open until 10:00.” Oh yes.. What would we have if there were neither croissants nor bread?
“Chräpfli”. OK, we agree. There’s nothing like something homemade. What do we get? A saucer of the cheapest caramel biscuits with questionable ingredients. The gastronomy industry can hardly sink any lower. And where? On the Zug Gold Coast.
