Holidays in Paradis
The journey to Barry's Beach Resort from Moshi was very long. I think you should have been better informed about the long distance. Finally it was like paradise. Just beautiful. The welcome from the management Deo was very warm. There was a short briefing and then vacation was at its best. I had mentioned that I like to drink coffee in the morning, and Deo came in every morning shortly after sunrise with a big pot of coffee. Thank you for the great service. In general, deodorant is a pearl that cannot be paid for with money. There is free Wi-Fi, when this time did not go right due to strong winds, Deo helped with a hotspot from your phone. Breakfast was very varied and more than enough. At lunchtime you could get lunch if you wanted. It was asked what you wanted food and what time. In the evening there was a three course menu which was very delicious. The Cabin was thoroughly cleaned daily, fresh drinking water was brought. Towels and bed linen were changed regularly. The pool was warm and the ocean soon too hot:-) It was a few chilly days that I totally enjoyed. You're in the middle of nowhere and yet it doesn't get boring. Thanks for everything.

The food was good, everything else was absolutely disappointing.
The facility looks very neat at first glance, but some of the details are shocking! The pool is neglected, full of deposits on the bottom, cloudy water full of small aquatic creatures. Our shower only gave off 6 mini jets of warm, not hot water. The mosquito nets had several holes. No door to the toilet/shower! The lighting was mediocre and partially broken. The bar and its refrigerators were completely empty, so there was no atmosphere. Since we were the only guests and everything was deserted and empty, the good food couldn't change the discomfort. We had booked 3 nights, but left the next morning by local bus. Warning(!), if you pay by credit card, you will be charged a fee of 11 U$!
The beach and the sea were heavily polluted by algae/seaweed.
Deodatha, the boss, later revealed herself to be a liar, claiming we had stolen towels!

Yes, You did stolen the pool towels. after we found out you feel shamed .
And your wife she's was not happy about paid 5% of use the Credit card machine.. That's for the bank not for us.. Your wife she said that she will destroy our business by write bad reviews to us. Which she did! Let me tell you, My customers know our, service. and we make sure they're happy .Just read all the reviews where did you read guest write like you? That towel you stolen has logo for our hotel.. That is bad manners behavior on your age to steal towels to the hotel.. PLEASE STOP THAT and do not do it again to any other hotel.

Great resort and service
super nice, small beach resort on the coast south of pangani. we were there in october and had wonderful 3 days. deodota and her team leave nothing to be desired. really great service! deodota is the best! The food was individually tailored to our taste and very tasty. bungalow right on the sea is recommended. the owner barry is also a great guy! We'll be back - vacation for individualists and perfect for integrating into a round trip. definitely drive through the sadaani national park if you come from dar es salaam. Thank you Deo and Team for your hospitality!

Very rude and aggressive
I was planning to book from them but when I contact their booking representative to book and get the invitation letter for the Visa I was shocked by their offensive and aggressive language they used to respond to me.
So of course I will look for another resort.

Be honest and don't keeping liars by hide your name that your yosofa... Kevin-Martins You book to us though Airbnb and your price is only for accommodation the food and drinks you will buy it. And that it's when you book to us through Airbnb.. I was wondering a 43 men crying like a baby that he can not paid the food, he's no has money for that he travel on budget. I give them food for free the in evening and morning for breakfast I only offer his girl friend breakfast and I told him to paid his breakfast.. He was not happy for that he keeping crying that he doesn't have enough money, ask me if I can reduce the price I told him NO. Kevin ... I as I told you if you want cheap vacation join to work away there you get free Accommodation, free food .. and you Just work a little bit.. This is a business no one will paid your bill. And its not get you anywhere. You are men get work and get enough money to travel and paid your bills. Don't crying like baby ..

Amazing place except the owner
All the revieuws are right : it is an amazing place.
Deadatha and her team are really excellent and doing everything to help you.
But a few remarks : there is nothing to do except the beach.
The pool is not very clean and it is very tuff to get there (bus to the DAR airport was around 12 (!!) hours).
But most of all, we didn't like the owner Barry : he present us to pick us up in Muheza which was a very good help for us. He told us that he went to Tanga for shopping, so the detour was no so big. And he stopped another few times for other shopping.
The day after he told us that it was 100 (!) us$ for the "taxi"!!
We can understand that you count something for the trip, but please tell it before and not afterwards!!
Also little respect for who works there. No we didn't liked him, he is a "money wolf".
Also little people in the lodge (because of the difficult accessibility?).
Nevertheless it stills an amazing place (but not cheap)
