Fantastic food & service

Decided on an impromptu dinner last night (Tuesday 04th March) as we'd not visited for years & it didn't disappoint. We were greeted by the nicest waitress (never got her name, but she had short black hair).
She was very clued up on the menu & advised us well on our choices. (Chicken enchiladas & creamy cajun chicken) She even apologised for the wait on our drinks....imo they weren't slow to arrive at all.
Now the food....that came out very quickly & was presented well. Big portions & the nicest hand-made chips we've had. I couldn't finish all of mines & the waitress brought out a fantastic wee reusable container to decant myleftovers in. I had them tonight & they tasted even better!
We will definitely be back again soon & once again have to mention the waitress who was just so lovely, definitely an asset to the place.

A few nights stay

Stayed here for a few nights whilst visiting the area. Hotel staff are friendly, rooms and hotel are clean and presentable. Food in the restaurant is nice and is reasonably priced. Breakfast is good. We booked early and got a good price on the room rate. Hotel is easy to find and get to, car parking is good. Would use again.

The staff were wonderful. So friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I was there for a funeral and coming back to the hotel after some stressful days was very comforting. The food in the restaurant was excellent. My adorable waitress, Jane, said I hope you come back in happier circumstance. I hope so too!
